What's new

Sathya Sai Baba passes away

None Muslims have been saying so since many decades so i feel your argument as a failed epic. and why would i be even concerned for view of Non-Muslims against my religion and faith. if they were in agreement with it then they would have been onboard with us :)

the bottom line is you are free to say that about my faith as being you being hindu is suppose to say so what you believe.

i being Muslim will say what i believe in

Hahahaha, if that is the case, why are you expecting followers of Sathya Sai Baba to listen to your logical argument? If you are not concerned with what non-muslims say about islam, then why should hindus care about what you have to say?

Bottom line is everyone should be held to the same standards. It is hypocritical to have a faith, and ridiculing others for having a different faith.

.
Again speaking ill of a person who is no more does not reflect well on us.

Give it a rest.

And I find it hypocritical when people jump with their guns drawn out hen some body talks ill of the God/Prphet they believe in, but have no qualms in bad mouthing others whom they do not believe.

.
Stop BS.

He never claimed to be GOD and all he ever claimed was of being the reincarnation of Siridi Sai Baba.

So some people(of all religions) think of him as God and its good for them as they don't need to go to mountain top to meet God.

Funny thing I saw on this site.
International Sai Organization

It says, Bagavan Sri Sathya Sai baba. 22 april, swami is no more with us physically.

.
Which is why it is matter of concern. How can a baba who openly does cheap tricks, dies, and everybody sending condolence. Not a single article or news item about the allegation or controversies.

What to do ??

Everyone isn't smart and know all person like you.

. .
Media is really on a overkill now. I wanted to watch some news, and its only showing his live cremation.
Pretty boring now.

.
first of all, i am not follower of this divine soul, earlier i didnt knew about him much, but i would every second take inspiration from him, his life and his message of non-violence, peace, love, communal harmany and selfless service of the poor and needy.

And please can anyone share any video or link where he clamed to be god??

Grow up dude. he claimed to be reincarnation of shirdi sai baba, not god. and shirdi sai baba were not god..! baba means a person who has attained a certain degree of self-realisation. and after self realisation your soul, which is part of god itself, becomes divine. and in hinduism reincarnation is very common. he is so popular because he taught millions of people the lesson of love and brought positive change in their lives and made them better human beings. why dont u people go out, do some magic tricks and claim to be reincarnation of someone..! if people of india are so blind, fool and whatever u call them, then even u will have millions of followers..! then u will realise people are not that stupid as u think they are..!at last i would like to say that stop assuming others to be fool and your self the only sane person in the universe.

.
No. The purpose is to prove that since Kalam and many other bigshots met/shook hands with/followed the baba, hence the Baba did not deceive people and hence was a reincarnation of the Shirdi Sai Baba and even God himself.

...Hence proved!

The purpose is to show that the Baba's service to humanity is respected by men far more intelligent than yourself. These are two people who have both done a lot for the people of India.

.
When ever you have a sexual perversion that would be unacceptable by the society, become a God man and do it under the cover of religion. No one will question you. This is a trick common to all religions through out history. Sai Baba just took it to the next level.

Asaramji Bapu has his share of followers, so did Chandra Swami and so do many other God-men but that doesn't mean that he is not a fraud, what is needed is simple common sense. This Sathya Sai baba may have followers such as Amitabh Bacchan or Sachin Tendulkar or PMs etc and may have done charity etc but nobody can deny that he tried to fool people with his magic tricks and gimmicks (re-carnation crap) etc

You're missing the point. The bottom line is the concrete help given to millions of poor people.

Responses to criticism

Neither Sathya Sai Baba nor any organizations associated with him have been charged or convicted for sexual abuse or any other crime in a court of law.[131] Alaya Rahm filed a lawsuit against the Sathya Sai Baba Society in the Superior Court of California on January 6, 2005. On April 7, 2006 Alaya Rahm withdrew his lawsuit after indications that his challenge lacked merit. The case was dismissed 'with prejudice' meaning it cannot be filed for the same claims again.[131] The Pioneer also noted that no offers of monetary settlement were paid to Alaya Rahm.[131]

Devotee Bill Aitken was quoted by The Week as saying that Sathya Sai Baba's reputation has not been harmed by the negative stories published about the guru. He said that the more detractors rail against Sathya Sai Baba, the more new devotees went to see him.[132]

In the article Divine Downfall, published in the Daily Telegraph, Anil Kumar, the ex-principal of the Sathya Sai Educational Institute said that he believed that the controversy is part of Baba's divine plan and that all great religious teachers had to face criticism during their lives. Anil Kumar also said that allegations have been leveled at Sathya Sai Baba since childhood, but with every criticism he becomes more and more triumphant.[133]

In an official letter made public in December 2001, Atal Bihari Vajpayee (then Prime Minister of India), P.N. Bhagawati (Former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India), Ranganath Misra (Chair Person, National Human Rights Commissioner of India and Former Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of India), Najma Heptulla (President of the Inter-Parliamentary Union; UNDP Distinguished Human Development Ambassador) and Shivraj Patil (Member of Parliament, India; Formerly of the Lok Sabha & Union Minister) all signed a letter which stated as follows "We are deeply pained and anguished by the wild, reckless and concocted allegations made by certain vested interests and people against Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. We would normally expect that responsible media would ascertain the true facts before printing such calumny - especially when the person is revered globally as an embodiment of love and selfless service to humanity. Since this professional ethic has not been observed by a section of the media, we have elected to go public with this signed statement."[134]

You mean Ahalya Ram and so mnay others just lied on the video and on other articles? Sai Baba is a powerful man with connections anything is possible for him. But he cannot erase the video made where the kid who got abused has shared his horrific experience. Years before this doc was made, there was an India Today issue dedicated to sai Baba's abuses. Do you think everyone is lying?
