The question remains why would BAF go for su-30 when su-35 is a generation leap with airframe having lower RCS apart from other much improved avionics and systems, remember you want 16 in number technologically advance su-35 are the right way forward post 2015-2020+, than again would hindustani lobby let you acquire a better su-30 variant atleast; with the clause that China would not let it upgrade on par with J-11 variants which are essentially highly upgrades of Flanker Series. The last ditch efforts of BAF should be to acquire additional 16 Mig-29 variants with AESA Radars including upgrades refurbishment of the current inventory in BAF.

We still dont knw which one the going to choose. If they are in a hurry then they will most likely go for Mig-29 I think. We need some aircraft urgent for sure.

nope..by the way..SU-30 mki is a custom made version for IAF (equipments from various countries)...so,India may give you the contacts from where you can buy the equipments...

for MKI ya cause MKI is a 50-50 joint venture just like brahmos..........mki has not been exported to any country though

I like JF-17, FC-1 yet I think BD will stick to main supplier only eg. China or Russia. Somehow Chinese convinced BD airforce about this F-7BGI. We still need to wait and see what comes with it.

They are replacing A-5 which are our ground attack aircraft, that means F-7BGI will have capabilities for ground attack.

Actually People! we are wrong on one part, F-7BGI is not a stop gap; the airframe/avionics can do well till 2025 infact F-7BGI would have relatively better ECM-Avionics over PG/BG Variants but radar could be a refined modified KLJ-6E. We could also see downsized KLJ-7 Radar variant for F-7BG/BGI/PG, you never know the Technology where it is heading but that would require time perhaps 2014 we could see some upgrade, the implications new life to F-7/J-7BG/BGI/PG, the productivity of nano technology.

F-7 BG, BGI or whatever else you call it, is garbage. After importing, BAF can recover some scrap metal from it, and besides, the electronics equipments can be recycled and the weapons suite onboard can be sold to the African mercenary black market.

by the way...why Bdesh even buying those (Junk) F-7??throw some more money,and you'll get some 4th gen fighter atleast worthy of this era..JF-17 or Tejas type aircraft will be great for your country(atleast they give you some aerial edge along with mig-29)..
