That is a stupendous number. Did that number get reported correctly?
That is more than India trains annually and close to what Russia trains.

it was better for them to get pakistani mirages and f-7pg which are now to be replaced by jf-17

Its just a quick fix of our inventory.
We also bought Yak-130 and probably SU-30.

F-7 BGI has complete new design with digital cockpit and different nose with BVR capable.

Now as for the shopping list, the submarine is the major thing that i am dying to see in our waters. Been long time and i believe govt. now realizes the importance to secure the maritime boundary BIG TIME!

And for the planes, as it is from Russia, is it possible to get Mig-35? I know that Su-30 is most likely but just wondering.

The MiG-35 is still in development stages.

The MiG-29 is old, but still has fight in it. But in my opinion, it'd be better to get SU-30s for maritime defense.

Get Su-30MK2 - with improved avionics, the MK2 was designed for more dedicated use as a maritime strike aircraft, thus these aircraft ordered by China are currently being operated by the Naval Air command.

The MK2 also features a better C4ISTAR (command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition and reconnaissance) abilities.

F-7BGI will have almost similar capabilities as J-17 or FC-1. Besides, we are buying another squadron from Russia probably SU-30 and one squadron of Yak-130. So low and high combination will suit us very well. inducting 48 aircraft within a year is no fckin joke.

now now !!!! don't say that some people here feel the J17 is almost as good ,if not better than the su 30 mki.

by the way in my opinion the Su30 will be a great addition . even one squadron will be able to achieve the security you desire .

Thanks...we don't have advanced weapons like our neighbors but whole our armed forces skill are recognized worldwide. I heard that US people attending training at Mirpur Staff College, Dhaka are termed Mirporean in US.
