Isnt their st petersberg church a tatar mosque converted into a church.

I think you are "a little bit" overreacting. Peskov clearly said - it is Turkish internal matter. As for Orthodox priest - it is understandable they want the building be Orthodox cathedral. By the way - Russian princess Olga (Helga), the first Christian ruler of Rus, was baptized in this cathedral in mid. 10 ct. Later in the end of 10 ct. some Russian envoys was so impressed by the cathedral that prince Vladimir the Great choose the Orthodoxy over Catholicism, Islam and Judaism. So it is due to this building Russia is Orthodox country.
As for me - I do not understand why they say it is better for the building to be museum. But I wish after it became the mosque tourists still be let to come in. I wish to visit it some day.

Not a supporter of this move but Russia can kindly zip off, nobody asked for their opinion and Turkeys internal matters is none of their business.

Is it now officially a mosque yet?

Any footage of Muslims praying inside?

Falling out of windows in tragic suicides. Windows are a leading cause of severe depression in Russia, with some cases causing neurotoxin and bullet holes to appear in the victims.
