Scientist were left unemployed & deserted. It was desperate times where they looked for buyers to sell their arms along with 100% TOT just to keep the industry & russian economy afloat. Chinese naturally took advantage of this opportunity and lots of top russian scientist moved on to china working in their defence projects. Kilo calls sub, Su27, Su 30, Tu bombers, USSR's 1/2 finished AC, S300, blueprints on Nuke subs based on which chinese type 94 sub was made- all of this were bought from collapsed Russia before 2001.They did all that with bussiness interest coupled with survival instinct . But what kind of an idiot would try to compare that with BD's arms market? Current Defence deals are not very well between russia & china considering surge in domestic procurement of a recovering russia. 
Case point, we bought our air defence system from China. As Kobirazz mentioned, just ask 80's version of S300s & see what happens.
Fighters that can not be retrofitted into improved versions, has scarcity of supplies of spares for external factors, huge maintenance cost and the procurement of which was done without any consultation with AF just for the sake of wholesale corruption can only be floated as a pure business deal by awamileaguers or naive ignorant idiots.

All over the world ,muslims value diversity and respect other religions not just BD. Other than malaunic propaganda about about muslims in other countries there is nothing to prove that non-muslims suffer in PAK, where there is literally chaotic war going on and ME where there is hardly any non-muslims. Nothing to do with "salafi/wahabi" as the malauns put it.
