All industries are outskirt of Dhaka which are outside Dhaka metropoliton. For instance Gazipur/Narshingdi/NarayanGanj. So Wiki nutt probably forgot to add them. And by the way where did they get those GDP numbers?? Bombay and Calcutta are port cities so the port itself suppose to generate a big portion of GDP for those cities. Our ports are loacated in Chittagong and in Khulna. As far as I know BD does not have any city wise GDP breakdown anyways.

For ship building industry, we just started exproting them and more than billion dollar export orders already in the pipeline per year. Dont worry we know what we are doing.

And how do you know people of west Bengal are misers? Coz your parents said so? You need more credible proof that that.
I don't know about people of West Bengal. But I know Bangladeshis in this forum still complaining about Indian soldiers taking away their fish, plums and nail cutters during 71 war. ie. 40 years after it happened. I personally don't know anything cheaper than this.

The figure for Dhaka includes Narayangang and Gazipur. Thats why you see the population figure of 14 Million. Besides the figures aren't made up by some "wiki nutt", it has been sourced from PWC.
