And mind you in a country plagued by Polio virus looking even remotely like Vince is not a compliment...In case you dont know like 90% of others on this forum Polio is spread due to pathetic sewage systems too....soo yea it is a big issue if in how many ever years SS has not been able to do a thing about the sewage systems and chalain hain aik 17mths old party say compare kernay

Polio is mainly (90+ %) confined to FATA/KP and specific ethnic groups/areas of Karachi.

Outside these two areas/ethnicities, polio numbers drastically go down.

it is time we made this as a national priority.

Because it is pathetic to use a vital issue for petty point scoring.

When truth is put forward please learn to accept it as truth over point scoring ...FATA is under the federal control....So yes something should be done there and something fast!

Mass education or whatever but yes something needs to be done coz Pathetic sanitation will not let polio remain in 1 area! Its a virus for heaven's sake!

The point @Akheilos made here was that sanitation and sewerage is important - it's not just Polio. Countless diseases ranging from normal gastroenteritis-causing bacteria to deadlier Cholera and Typhoid are spread through sewerage. Not to mention all the inconvenience caused by the whole city flooding every time it rains and the risk of dying by falling in a manhole or getting electrocuted.
Whatever argument you make, the truth is that PMLN prioritized PR-projects like the metro bus instead of essential things like sewerage, electricity, healthcare and education. That I disagree with, no matter which party does it I'd disagree with it and so should every Pakistani.

I tried and it was total waste of time. She is telling me that Chief minister appoints Power minister (and education, health etc). Chief minister is responsible for power also (and education, health etc).

This is the problem with Pakistan. "Mobs." Taking things into hands. They don't agree with majority and do as they please.

A small mob decided that the elections were rigged and Nawaz needs to resign. And the mob grew as everyone jumped on the bandwagon.

I can tell you for 100% that next election, even if PTI wins, there will be people on the streets saying election was rigged. (PTI isn't going to win, almost a guarantee) and calling for dissolving of the assembly. This is just how Pakistanis are. They don't agree with majority decision. Their excuse is rigging. Now how did PMLn manage to rig millions of votes is something even western powers cannot understand.

I didn't vote for PMLN last time. Practically everyone I know in Pakistan did not vote for PMLN. That's why so many people are supporting PTI for electoral reforms and investigation. Where did our votes go? What makes you so sure that ''each party will have a shot at winning in 2018''?
If there will be no electoral reforms, no investigation and no proper action taken against the culprits, what's stopping them from rigging the next elections too? PMLN ?

Electoral reforms are essential. PMLN shouldn't have sidelined this issue for 14 months.
