Protest on Ramiz Raja's comment intensfies

Pakistan break-up was never about language, and the Urdu vs Bangla thing. That was the more politically correct account for a sanitized history. Something many Pakistanis (like Rameez Raja included) till today use a a poorly disguised surrogate proxy for the real thing. Which quite simply is the racial disdain of the fair tall well built Punjabi for the dark slightly chinky short pretty scrawny Bengali. We see it right here on this very forum, so no point in even trying to over rationalize the whole thing. What the Bangladeshis have picked up on is the racial thing. Pronunciation etc. is just for the public consumption part. So yes, in the eyes of Islam all Muslims are equal, regardless of color race ethnicity or nationality, and in the eyes of God (and themselves when it comes to their fabled Ummah) they are one people. But the echoes of 1971 reverbating even today pretty conclusively proved the very superficial lip service to that theory. As did the Partition in 1947 on the basis of the two nation theory. How one can reconcile Islam and the demand for a separate nation, when in fact Islam has no concept of nationhood, is not only beyond me, but seems to me to be an anachronism best left unexplained. Because it cannot be explained.

@DESERT FIGHTER @save_ghenda @Color_Less_Sky @SipahSalar @RAMPAGE @Zarvan @Imran Khan @BDforever @SarthakGanguly @Zebra @levina @third eye @Spring Onion

I will again say kali mata ne marathis per reham nai kiya, otherwise you will come with rational theory instead of racial to explain 71. This theory is usually propagated by pure army haters which we can find in everywhere on PDF.

As a Pakistani I like to apologize to my Bangladesh brothers and sisters for irresponsible behavior of Rameez Raja during Bangladesh and Afghanistan Cricket World Cup match. Here I also like to point out that Rameez Raja doesn't hold very good opinion even in Pakistan and has an image of being a money minded glamour loving person who will give more importance to Indian Premier League rather then serving interests of his own country. I can assure you that we love and respect Bangladeshi players like our own and would love to see Bangladeshi cricket prosper more in future .

You should apologize at your own behalf not as a Pakistani, because Pakistanis dont give a damn about these stupid protests for a stupid reason. they have problem Rameez calling them saiful and mujeebur when all the cricket tournaments write bangali names like that. A punjabi cannot pronounce their names as they would.

.
Agreed. Banglas are sounding like desi aunties. Drama for no reason. Players from all countries have their names mispronounced. Our Urdu commentators pronounce gora names wrongly at times and vice versa.

They make it a life death scenario with us, I never felt any prejudice towards them but their consistent actions are making me rethink. What we did for them in 1999 and how they repaid when we needed them, refusing to come to Pakistan to play. Sri Lankans are way better friends then them.

Yes you are right , mostly pakistanis says likr this Bismillahir rehmanir rehim , i also want to say one of my friend actual name is abdul rahman but every one call him abdul rehman , but he never mind , because he know that many people have proucination mistakes , except arabs , so dont be overreact on this ,
I am sorry if I've hurt u in anyway.I never meant to. . .

@TankMan
like i said u dont need to convince us,,,:D
@Zarvan is too stubborn but I assure you his theories have been thoroughly and completely debunked, using both basic (Quran) and advanced Islamic sources (Hadith, Fiqh etc) . I'm going to try to debate him and he'll repeat the same thing over and over again, like some toddler ''No youre rong mister islam is this everyone is kafir kill everyone I don't care''.

If not he'll copy-paste some verses out of context and then say my context is wrong when I show that to him.

Most Muslims don't even bother with people and arguments like his. It's just everyone else, you people, that give them so much attention.

Anyways, why is this becoming a religious discussion? I keep getting dragged into them and then people tell me I'm obsessed with it - If I don't reply, I keep feeling as if some idiot is going to read arguments like Zarvan's and go kill people because of it.

Predictable is an understatement.
No need to make your point, I already know, acknowledge and act on it. (and have been for a long time)

Assamese worker in a Car wash (Water service as we call) identified himself as "Ajmol". I wondered whether he is telling "Anmol". turned out he is "Ajmal". The way they pronounce is very confusing.

@TankMan not a single point made by me has been debunked neither from Quran or Sunnah so stop lying Mr. Your thoughts are typical western paid Mullah like Ghamdi crap
