Project ideas, anyone?

Underwater robot for drug delivery? i did not understand.

It's a nano scale robot, we created a propulsion system for a prototype (6 centimeters long) that exhibited the same properties in that prototype that it would when scaled down to the nano scale. Once the properties of the prototype have been 'translated' onto nano scale, the nano scale robot can be used for drug delivery systems.

One of my friend made a heat exchanger .It is a very useful system. I think you should try it

You mean inside human body??

Automated collision avoidance system for cars??
Perhaps if you can.. get in touch with somebody in TATA or the like..

System being able to detect a collision in the front 160 degree section and be able to take appropriate actions to avoid or reduce impact.
This sounds quite interesting. I'll be sure to give it a lot of thought.
Thank you, sir.

although.. if you are thinking of something that may land you a job quicker..
Do an energy audit of a large industry.. preferably multinational.
That puts a nice piece of skill on your resume.. and can get you in as an energy auditor for respectable firm..and believe me.. these posts pay good, even to a fresh grad.

kerala entrance rank list vannila.
noorul islam universuity

Any chance you will get in CET or TKM with kerala entrance? These two are very good. In TKM, i think they have 2% allotted to management seats.

This is a term that I've never come across before. Please pardon my ignorance. What i understand after a quick Google search is that it involves analysing weather conditions, insulation set ups etc and recommending the optimal arrangement. I'd be grateful if you could correct my explanation sir.

damn i gave away my mech. engg seat at assam engineering college for civil engg. at m.i.e.t gondia i hope i made the right decision. Is there anything related to defence in civil engg. i guess not :-C !!!!

in my opinion, if you're not interested, you shouldn't go for it. As for me, i couldn't imagine myself studying anything but this. Ever since the eighth grade i wanted to go into mechanical engineering.

bilal bhai, did you have any knowledge regarding the construction procedure in the nano scale while creating this project? Also, material properties change at that scale.... Did you guys suggest the material that can be used? As for the energy source....body temperature? My knowledge in nano tech is extremely inadequate.

Well.. not just weather, specifically where and how energy is used in a location, as an assumption a Sugar mill.
So you would take into account the net electrical energy flowing into the system, losses in lines.. losses in the crushers due to inefficient operation.

Here's some IIT guys who did this, although these guys are first year folks..

IIT as a campus may be large, but its energy model is still simplistic.
Something as complex as a tool and die factory may require a lot more work.

Those are 1st year M.tech guys. This looks quite promising.....i will update proggys on this thread :)

.
mech thanyou for considering me , however im not an engineer by profession , rather i'm a medical doctor , so cant help you much in this regards!

.
I did my Mechatronics in 2008,I made an automatic packaging machine for packing many edibles but as you are Mechanical i think
you should go for something related to thermodynamics and heat transfer like a better cooling system for diesel engines. This is a common problem in India and Pak and Western countries normally design their produts at max 40C.
Such project will give you practical experience and for job hunt too.
GOOD LUCK
