PM says US pressuring Pakistan to recognise Israel: report

Pakistan should totally recognise Israel and further align with the Jewish peoples as a natural and highly necessary ally against a whole range of anti-Abrahamic forces, from brahminist filth on the one side to anti-semitic/anti-Islamic eurotrash on the other. It is no oddity that Jews and Muslims - untainted in thought and unbiased in emotion by the Palestinian Israeli impasse - naturally leap to one another's defence in neutral countries whenever confronted by a mutual threat. I can tell you that the sooner we realise our enemies are one and the same, the sooner we will defeat those enemies.

While I do not comment on the issue at hand, your blanket statements based upon solely your interpretation of mention of Jews in the Quran(which is disputed even by much more established and known scholars rather than some anonymous person) seem to suggest a near prophetic surety of your declaration of those that disagree with you as non-believers. Which takes on the same qualities of Allah in judgement as if either you are his equal or you speak for him .. so which is it?
How about you open up a Thread and than we can have discussion over there about Prophetic surety by the Last Prophet Muhammad (SAW) about the people who side with the forces of Dajal ?

What prophetic surety do you have about making non-belivers to believer while told by Quran and Sunnah otherwise ?
Which takes on the same qualities of Allah in judgement or in this world as if either you are his equal or you speak for him .. so which is it?

MNS and AAZ would have already committed to do so if US reinstates them to power.
Musharraf also tried to do the same while he was in the office

the pressure wont work...

Imran Khan is afraid of Allah only.

Most Palestinians I know, and have worked with don't actually care about Pakistan's view at all when it comes to Palestine. They'd rather have the recognition from the Arab world, and the West. To them if USA or Canada recognised Palestine would mean more to them than Pakistan recognising Israel.

@Falcon29

Please correct this Palestinian/Arab slamming on this thread.
DON'T DO IT.

DO NOT FUCKING DO IT.

We won't. Dont worry.

Liberals can write articles all day. Won't change anything.
All those who think ALL Arabs happily support Israel are wrong.

It is the impure Aal i Saud type despotic rulers who support Israel just for their own Kursi. Most commonfllk do not support Israel.

Thanks for this bro. A voice of reason in a sea of ignorance.

Honestly, I am ashamed of my people on this forum when I see such callous disregard for the suffering of Palestinians.

This is plain shameful.

i take solace in the fact that Pakistanis would hang someone in the street if he even uttered one word in favor of Israel.

Musharraf got saved from the noose.

Upset, no.

Disagree vehemently, yes.
Fair enough. It is just my opinion, having grown up around them.

Cheers !!!

Judaism in general and Zionism are not to be confused as the same. Pakistani government's issue is with Zionism.

You had for me a second until your last sentence, which makes no sense. What Palestinians do you know? Btw, you need to understand there are two bases in Palestine, one led by Hamas and one led by the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank. The Hamas led base supports military resistance and is opposed to the PA's security cooperation with Israel, among other things. The PA led base is traditional style gov't which cooperate with Israel, US, EU, and Arab gov'ts. Hamas led one has no relations with Israel, US, EU, or most Arab gov'ts. Most of you guys on this forum take your perspective on Palestine from the PA led base and you guys really think we consider this Mahmoud Abbas guy to be our 'President'. Almost all of us despise him and his PA led gov't got voted out of power in 2006 when they lost elections to Hamas.

Hamas was supposed to lead the Palestinian gov't then and have their guy be the President, but US, Israel, EU , PA and some Arab gov'ts rejected the results of the election and didn't allow for a transition of power. So instead of ruling both West Bank and Gaza, Hamas got stuck in Gaza and Israel implemented a blockade on it ever since the elections. You should follow Hamas's positions and not the PA since it is an illegitimate gov't. It refused to allow any other Palestinian parties a role in the gov't and that's why Hamas made its own gov't in Gaza. You should follow Shehab News Agency on Facebook for the other angle of the Palestinian base. Since I can tell that you guys here take our 'President' more seriously than we do.

Anyhow, we don't make decisions for anyone, we try to encourage people to recognize Palestine as a state at the UN and nothing more. We have nothing to offer to people as we are under occupation in the West Bank and under a blockade in Gaza. In the end, we don't dictate what nations want to do, if they want relations with Israel or not. If they feel that is better for them than we don't get involved. It's their own assessment they make, but there will be consequences to supporting the Israeli occupation. Such as losing moral high ground, or having Jewish/Israeli community play bigger role in your peoples culture and lifestyle, politics and economy.
Fair enough. It is just my opinion, having grown up around them.

So, the Palestinians you grew around told you they hate Pakistan? Or told you they wish they got recognition from Canada? How is that anti-Pakistan?

Pakistan is far from Palestine, Palestinians aren't well informed on Pakistani domestic politics. We know about Kashmir and know that Pakistan is a nuclear power. We hear of demonstrations in support of Palestine, and attacks in Pakistan, and the recent skirmish between Pakistan and India which was covered widely in the media. Their lack of knowledge of Pakistan should not be seen as a disinterest in it. Pakistan is just not covered in international media a lot except for negative reasons at a certain time. Palestine is covered in the media because of Israel's close relationship with the US and EU, and how they cover Israel's case a lot. It gets disproportionate coverage because Jewish people in those media outlets in US/EU want Israel's narrative shared and understood by American/European populations.

Read a little openly what I wrote there sir. especially that last sentence. No need to create a misunderstanding with emotions. Ending it there.

Cheers !!!

Assume for a minute we do recognise Israel, what makes you think we stand to benefit from it? They're selling billions worth of equipment to our enemies - do you think we can ask them to stop? They worked to attack our nuclear sites, as they did with Iraq and Iran. Do you think we can start to trust them?

Do what you do for Allah, for Arab. They're not the same thing. If i was alive during Arparthied in South Africa I would have said the same thing.
when we can have diplomatic relations with countries like India and Afghanistan then we can with any worst country. Israel just planned (that too with no proofs) India attacked us on daily basis through their terrorists in Afghanistan and LOC we still have relations with them, then why not Israel what are we getting with no relations with them?

think logically, atleast with relations with them we will have to deal with India only while Israel will not support India against Pakistan the way you were saying they did in past.
we will be better if we stay far away from israel even for our own sake!
i would say we would be better had we only see our interest and had worked on it instead of working for Arab countries interest.

KARACHI: Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that the country is facing great pressure from the United States to recognise Israel, especially in the wake of peace deals between several Arab states and Tel Aviv, but this will not be possible “unless there is a just settlement, which satisfies Palestine”.

The prime minister was quoted as making these remarks by the Middle East Eye (MEE) website — a portal with a focus on the region — in a report carried on Monday.
MEE said Mr Khan made these remarks “last week” talking to “local media”.
The website quoted the prime minister as saying that pressure to recognise Israel was “extraordinary during the Trump stint”.

Asked if any Muslim states were applying similar pressure on Pakistan, the PM appeared evasive, saying “there are things we cannot say. We have good relations with them”.
Earlier this year the UAE, Bahrain and Sudan normalised relations with Israel, while reports in the media stated that the Trump administration was goading Saudi Arabia to do the same. Riyadh has so far not followed in the footsteps of its Gulf and Arab allies.
In the MEE report, the PM reiterated Pakistan’s official line on the Palestine question, saying that “Islamabad would continue to follow in Jinnah’s footsteps vis-a-vis Palestine” meaning that unless there was justice for the Arab side, recognition of the Zionist state was off the table for Pakistan.

That's rich!! My interpretation? You're kidding me with this comment of yours, right?

Lemme ask you this, have you ever bothered to study the subject? Did you ever bother to study the Holy Qur'an, before accusing me of such ridiculous label? Have you studied the Arabic language and conducted a detailed analysis to make the distinction between the common spoken Arabic to that which is in the Holy Qur'an?

If so, then do tell me where, in the Holy Qur'an is Jerusalem mentioned by name? Because if it isn't, then it wouldn't be surprising that your unnamed scholars have disputed about Jews. Despite the fact that there is an entire chapter in the Holy Qur'an, titled Surah Banu Isra'eel.

Oh and King Herod's wife, Mariamne I, demanded the head of John the Baptist, who is Hazrat Yahya Alaihi Salam. This is documented in European Iconography, from the Roman times. You'd know this, had you bothered to study the subject. Instead you've been quick to come to the defense of yourself, when I accuse those advocating for Pakistan's recognition of israel, of betraying Islam.

(which is disputed even by much more established and known scholars rather than some anonymous person)

And which scholars, pray tell, would they be? As the ones that I have gone through, have been debunked.

-------------------------------------------------------

It is really interesting to see how you have cleverly remarked, labeling me to be someone who is "near prophetic." Perhaps if you had spent more time in going to the Holy Qur'an and studying the scripture. You would've probably benefited from it, than focusing your brain power on defending your vanity. Advocating the recognition of israel, an apartheid, fascist, genocidal murderer state. Yet accusing me to be some "near prophet."

I would advise you to channel your intellect to more positive and productive direction. We are human after all and as Muslims, we owe it to ourselves to strive toward the Sunnah of our beloved Prophet, Khatim-un-Nabiyyen (Final Prophet of Allah Subhanahu Wata'aalah) Muhammad Alaihi Salaat-u-Wassalam.

Moral high ground gets you nothing today. China recognizes Israel are they on 'moral low ground' ? Many countries don't mention treatment of Uighurs in Xinjiang, or Saudi treatment of Yemenis, or Myanmar treatment of Rohingya. Why? It doesn't do cr@p. If Pakistan receives something in return for the recognition they should do it 100%. Before UAE recognized Israel I would say hold out but if Arabs don't care about their land why should anyone else?

If receiving something amounts to making a long standing diplomatic change, it must mean that the country is very weak. Even quaid e azam spoke for the rights of palestinians, so are you suggesting we roll back our founding principles?
