Good point and agreed. I just don't get how there hasn't been a huge reaction to the so-called air strikes. Just congress and some journalists asking questions and evidences, the rest all quiet, that brought India embarrassment more than anything.
Questioning the airstrikes and discussing what happened during & after them make for interesting debates on forums like here & in some circles in some channels.
99.99% of India though, they are not remotely interested.
Even those that don't like Modi and don't trust him, trust our military implicitly.
When the military said 'this is what happened', that is the truth for most Indians.
The so called embarrassment is not remotely present anywhere in India.
In fact most are proud of what was achieved.
This 'fact' might be hard to digest on this forum where we dissect every little thing.
For most Indians details are not important & neither do they care.
For them the facts are what the military said - that is the beginning and end.
Some journalists and Congress were answered comprehensively in last elections, should tell you what the people trusted and believed.
In India, most politicians would not dare to go against the popular mood.
And the mood in India is vastly different to whats being discussed here.
