PM Modi raises issue of Pakistan-sponsored terror in meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping

Good point and agreed. I just don't get how there hasn't been a huge reaction to the so-called air strikes. Just congress and some journalists asking questions and evidences, the rest all quiet, that brought India embarrassment more than anything.

Questioning the airstrikes and discussing what happened during & after them make for interesting debates on forums like here & in some circles in some channels.

99.99% of India though, they are not remotely interested.
Even those that don't like Modi and don't trust him, trust our military implicitly.
When the military said 'this is what happened', that is the truth for most Indians.

The so called embarrassment is not remotely present anywhere in India.
In fact most are proud of what was achieved.

This 'fact' might be hard to digest on this forum where we dissect every little thing.
For most Indians details are not important & neither do they care.
For them the facts are what the military said - that is the beginning and end.

Some journalists and Congress were answered comprehensively in last elections, should tell you what the people trusted and believed.

In India, most politicians would not dare to go against the popular mood.
And the mood in India is vastly different to whats being discussed here.

SO are you saying....pakistani supported taliban killing american soldiers is better ... my fellow "american" ???

Is that your deduction? Modi was not allowed in the U.S., that is until he became Prime Minister of India the first time. And perhaps read what I said again .... how can this guy go to China seeking relief while he targets Chinese in Pakistan? See the irony...

Actually quite contrary to what you suggest, There is vast history of conduct of Pakistan's military that is being accounted for with engagement viz-a viz Pakistan.

Now, to address the other readers, if after reading my position they feel it's right oriented, or hawkish, here is a very recent video I was listening to from a very very liberal seasoned journalist of India. The adjectives he uses in the video are even unpalatable for me use, but more less it reflects broadly a majority of Indian educated (interested in geopolitics) opinion.

@WAJsal @Oscar tagging you guys not to discuss the merits of his discussion, but the role historical instances have played to shape the opinion today. Irrespective of click bait title, watch it in its entirety to get the subtext in this particular exchange, (@Oscar along with your post in the other thread)

An Indian telling us we live in a fantasy!!! I think its Indians who have to realize they live in a fantasy and that fantasy was debunked on Feb 27th.

Nice try to deflect the venality of indian state and establishment to the impoverished Indian population and electorate who are brainwashed through morphed whatsapp messages and videos.

No elected politician in India gives two hoots about popular "mood" or promises. If that were the case all promises to Indian electorate would have been implemented and India wouldnt have been a third world $hit hole.

Whatever... I get it that you're interested/concerned... Now move along! Don't act like you know me or better yet I don't know or care to know you... comprende?

considering that you are more worried about the Chinese in Pakistan ...both who are working against the us in every conceivable way.....than our major strategic partner in South asia overlooking 60% of sea trade....

maybe you should either switch your flag or go back to pakistan....

ETHICS is irrelevant in the bigger geopolitical picture.... Pakistan used to do it before...now india is doing it better without the attention...lol...

Pakistan has A-Z terrorist outfits that go to the highest bidder..India has money....and Pakistan is broke ...it's Pakistan's fault it can't do Jack shit....and the Chinese fault in thinking they can bypass the us :p

Stop whining if the big boys game is tough for ye
