PM Modi raises issue of Pakistan-sponsored terror in meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping

@WAJsal @Oscar tagging you guys do not discuss the merits of his discussion, but the role historical instances have played to shape the opinion today. Irrespective of click bait title, watch it in its entirety to get the subtext in this particular exchange, (@Oscar along with your post in the other thread)
fantasies? What abt indian fantasies? I think @Oscar made it clear BOTH sides need to drop their pre-existing biasedness if anything is to move forward that also includes crying to other nations!

Rather than holding on to the first word you read on the title, watch what the liberal position in India is in the video, The you can gauge the sentiment of a nation that overwhelmingly voted a government classically defined right of center.

liberal position in India
I think that is just a perception!

The you can gauge the sentiment of a nation that overwhelmingly voted a government classically defined right of center.
And exactly when does that happen? Usually when things arent going right...For india they need to blame someone -and they found a neighbour they have been blaming and despising for more than half a century!

That is "liberal" ?nowhere in the RSS styled rant has the dimtwit had a word to say about Kashmiri people sufferring, their struggles. Instead he dished out every $hit talk against pakistan that is standard in Indian govt circles - "angry" muslims, terrorist producing, no law and order, negotiates with a gun to its head. There is absolutely no respect to Pakistani position, zilch empathy to Kashmiri struggle but this guy expects the world to think of him as "liberal". Much of India is dominated by primitive , hateful and tribal brahminical govt that these words like "liberal" have no real meaning.

.
Good and China should stop trying to mediate this issue. It's beyond them and they themselves are a party in the dispute.

.
I think that is just a perception!
I don't think so. Given the government's policy and reading through most of the opinion pieces of regional geopolitics, this is broad Indian position, without the unnecessary lack of civility in the language used, even by a seasoned journalist.

And exactly when does that happen? Usually when things arent going right...For india they need to blame someone -and they found a neighbor they have been blaming and despising for more than half a century!
That happens through a series of formative events which are set by historical precedences to persuade the electorate of a certain vision of government. It's not a cause-effect type deal, much like there is multitude of constituents of different magnitude that leads to current stated foreign policy, whose historical subtext was I wanted to point out in the video posted.
Oversimplification to dumb down a complex event can win you an argument but will serve no purpose in understanding the other side's position, not that many are interested in doing so.

Fascist Brahmin ruling elite. Very interesting adjectives.
For the fascist part, Indian constitution hasn't changed since 1950 in it's fundamental makeup; few amendments here and there, of which for the last two decades all have been for economic activities, removal of red tape, minority reservation and all went through the same constitutional process of parliament houses as bills. Indian judiciary, parliament, bureaucracy, all remain intact. That's all I will comment on fascism.

Now about the brahmin part of your comment:
Prime Minister of India : Is from caste classified as Other Backward Class (OBC)
President of India: is from a Dalit caste (Kori, SC)
Defence Minister of India: Rajnath Singh : From a Kshatria Caste (non-brahmin)
Home Minister: Amit Shah : From a baniya Caste (non-brahmin)

Now for the Elite part of it, none of the current elites came from an elite background; Modi background is well known, Amit Shah comes from a family that was in PVC Pipe business, President of India had humble beginnings and Defence minister comes from a farming family.
according to Savarkar’s 1923 book Hindutva—Who is a Hindu? declared that those who did not consider India as both fatherland and holy land were not true Indians—and that the love of Indian Christians and Muslims for India was “divided” because each group had its own holy land in the Middle East.
This RSS terrorist org (also known as the Sangh) has been banned three times in post-Independence India. The first ban came after the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi in 1948 - the organization was accused of plotting the murder of the national icon but was later absolved. It was a major setback to the image and credibility of the group which it took nearly three decades to shake off. Modi was once a full-time RSS worker, the broadcast predictably created an uproar among opposition parties and liberals.
Now Modi took over as the Prime Minister of India for a second term and it came into power on pure Hindu votes without any support from minority and enjoy political patronage for carrying out its goal of a “pure Hindu nation. As he declared majority seats winner in both Lok sabhas, so this time he will change in Law by majority votes to define who is Hindu and declared that those who did not consider India as both fatherland and holy land were not true Indians.

Since it is the world’s largest democracy, India is important to the U.S. Geopolitical counterweight to China, But the growth of violent Hindu terriost nationalism threatens India’s tolerant traditions and pluralistic democracy. If religious extremism continues to grow, it will, as we have learned elsewhere, drag India’s democracy, economy, and foreign policy down with it. Same result like a Modi's Cloud Theory.

Interesting take but neither Savarkars book or its philosophy has any bearing on Indian constitution.
Next, Modi won a pure majority in 2014 too, there was no change in the fundamental makeup of the constitution of India. Lastly I am not sure you understand the reverence for the constitution in India, it's fundamental structure has not changed since it's inception and the amendments are enacted through due process across all the houses and still can be overturned by the judiciary if deemed fit.

And the worst possible bleak outcome of a rightwing India is a pure Hindu nation as per your post. In that case, the way I read it, are you literally claiming the worst possible outcome for India is we become a mirror image of Pakistan?

modi to Xi: Pakistan make terrorism in Kashmir. can you stop them?
Xi to modi: we are making terrorism in assam and the nexalite states. can you stop us?

Well last time he was winning with the majority , and made the big change history curriculum.
https://www.nybooks.com/articles/2018/12/06/indias-dangerous-new-curriculum/

Now this time for sure To pass a constitution amendment bill in Rajya Sabha, in addition to getting the support of 123 members, the bill should be favoured by more than 2/3rd of the members present (BJP holding this majority) and voting. Cases where special majority as per article 368 is used: To pass a constitutional amendment bill which does not affect federalism. Modi is good for us , we are seeing the future of mirror Pakistan in India.

Well tried, but what you are refering to needs constitutional amendment per the Article 368; Where the bill needs to pass both upper and lower house, Which then will need the president's approval and can still be challenged by the supreme court, And no one in India is worried about that. Any move to change the nature of Indian democratic fabric constitutionally will just lead to electoral wipeout for BJP.

I am quite surprised that you think India at it's worst outcome mirrors pakistan?

As far as text book, some of it was stupid, some of it was the correction of left historians that ran their agenda for the last 68 years.

Time will tell my friend , our last prophet (PBUH) all his prohphecy before end of times all comes to true . And conquering India prophecy is next to be fulfilled , and We are seeing already Modi second term will be more positive for Pakistan.

Bull$hit .. Modi caste alone does not matter. He is simple an RSS man. And RSS always, always had brahmin as the sarsanghchalak (the chief). In modi 's cabinet ministers (not ministers of state) 13 out of 26 are brahmins.
Ajit Doval is a brahmin, foreign minister is a brahmin, finance minister is a brahmin . Atleast fifty percent of top bureacracy is brahmin. Indian communist leadership is mostly brahmin. Indian congress was ruled by nehru family who are kashmiri brahmins. The first terrorist of India nathuram godse is a brahmin.

Almost all priests of famous temples are brahmin. Is there a single religion in the world which reserves priesthood as property of an ancestry ?
What power does India's president have ?

indian constitution was and is a joke. It copied western and christian constitutions of the west and planted it on a population which is completely different. As soon as Ambedkar was gone the consitution went to dogs. Indian laws are barely enforcable - on paper there is no caste but 95% of Indians marry within own caste. Indian constituion makes the right to propogate religion fundamental right but Indian states make "anti conversion" laws.

.
Balochistan insurgency has no sympathizers among the voters of India which elect the "elite", unlike what from what President Musharraf said differs from Kashmir insurgency which has tremendous support in Pakistan.

Similarly, Naxalite-Maoist insurgency has no sympathizers among the voters of Pakistan..

Balochistan insurgency can be compared to Naxalite-Maoist insurgency but NOT Kashmir insurgency

Unlike Kashmir, Baluchistan and the Red Corridor are NOT "Disputed territories whose final accession to India or Pakistan is yet to be decided", under International Law.

Now that is just lying;
Nine Brahmin leaders have found place in the Union cabinet

Well, if the first terrorist of India was a brahmin, so was the first Prime minister, what bearing does that have.

To overturn constitutional amendments.

Maybe that is just transference of what happened to your constitution, but the Indian constitution has remained sacrosanct across the history of Independent India. Indian judicial has its challenges but does not runs to the whims and fancies of tin-pot dictators. All bills in India pass as per the constitution and jurisprudence takes place as per the Indian Penal Code. You can mock it as much you want, but there neither has been any abrogation of constitutional authorities of institutions not any overreach by any of the executive, judiciary or bureaucracy that has been beyond the purvue of the constitution.

Indian laws are barely enforcable - on paper there is no caste but 95% of Indians marry within own caste. Indian constituion makes the right to propogate religion fundamental right but Indian states make "anti conversion" laws.
Indian jurisprudence through the Indian penal code is arduous due to its nature and vast reach across all of the nation. On paper there is caste, where did you get there is no caste on paper, the entire affirmative action, and reservations for the minorities and backward classes are based on caste. Actually, coercion to convert one's religion is a violation of the fundamental right to practice one's own religion, Case and point Pakistan where routinely news of the abduction of minority girls to convert to Islam has been reported, states making anti-conversion laws apply to all religions. No one should be coerced to convert to any religion.

Similarly, Naxalite-Maoist insurgency has no sympathizers among the voters of Pakistan..

Balochistan insurgency can be compared to Naxalite-Maoist insurgency but NOT Kashmir insurgency

And no one in India blames Pakistan for Maoists.
