PM Hasina plans to build aircraft in the country

A lot of money can be made through kickbacks and over invoices. It's definitely a lucrative project for 'patriotic' robbers.

It will make me happy if a functional garbage disposal system is created throughout the country. I do not care about Hasina's big talking jet plane project. Clean roads, rainwater and sewerage discharge system, and a garbage disposal system are important for people to claim they are living in a civilzed country.

The delusional hypocrite who expect Bangladesh to turn like Japan overnight and run as efficiently as Japan by now should take a look at this documentary of what was this country just 40 years ago.A Malthusian disaster of Biblical proportion. The most hopeless and dangerous situation in the world. It was like a coming apocalypse. Do this hypocrite expect each Bangladeshi to turn into a Superman and speed up the development 1000x using miracle? I urge this delusional hypocrite to spare this poor Bangladesh from his 'developmental torture' here and allow it to grow with it's natural progression. He can enjoy life all he want in Japan. No one in Bangladesh is denying him that.So why he is abusing poor Bangladesh constantly to sooth his pervasive ego?

No one is a hypocrite like some of you guys. You futuristic developing news are highly decorating the newspapers but no real achievement on the ground. As I said before the paranoid Hasina is bickering many things to attract the voters.

Do not compare with Japan or German. They are hard working people. They talk less and work more. This is how they have been continuously developing technological know-how since after the 1860s. Perhaps, you will remember the Japanese Zero fighter which was best at the time of WWll, even better than the German fighter-bomber planes. The Japanese built factories in the Korean Peninsula in the early 20th century which are still running. Japan and Japanese are in a different league. They did not progress only by talking big.

But, BD leader Hasina is all talk, unfortunately. Japanese think twenty times before talking once. Here you and your PM think one short second and talk for twenty minutes. Instead of talking about Japan, you should have compared BD with the neighbor India which have so many achievements, even planes.

Click the link below to read what your Chetona PM said in 2010 on the technological renovation. So, what has been done so far? It is a very big ZERO.

As a Pakistani having traveled several times to BD I wish them luck. i don't think this will happen overnight but small steps in the right direction.
if you buy Tejas as the Indians here suggestion then you are in kaka

They better do something quick, with fanatical Hindus across the border they are going to need whatever they can make:-

Are you seriously doubting the Bangladeshi work ethic? Do you think it's possible to become one of the largest garment producers in the world, at a poor rate of pay, without hard work? It requires a strict, highly productive workforce with minimal wastage and BD has proven itself.

You can criticize BD corruption or lack of technical expertise but there is no way you can blame lack of hard work.

And why is aircraft building not possible? 15 years ago BD was famous for stripping ships and today we are building more than ever. We are more than capable of overhauling small aircraft in the near future. If Hasina leaves it to private enterprise, this will happen very quickly.

Who can stop your own personal thinking? But, so many things are said in BD, but these never materialize. Read the 8-year old news below. It talks about technology development and is the same as all the futuristic news of today.

The thread was opened on December 2010. Why do not you do what you preach instead of prophecising for the future? By the way, how far your pet project, Digital Bangladesh, has progressed? How many more years will we have to read all these deceptive news? Better you do and then talk.

PM for building tech-based country
Bss, Dhaka

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday renewed her government's pledge to build a science and technology-based modern Bangladesh through turning the country's huge population into human resources.

She said her government with the consultation of all stakeholders had adopted a time-befitting modern education policy along with implementing various pragmatic programmes in the education sector in this regard.

The prime minister (PM) said this while inaugurating the golden jubilee celebrations and reunion of Residential Model College in the city.

timestamp 2.42.

When I personally am of the opinion that Indians in general are too lazy still compared to many ... you know BD people have to be extra bad at this when they themselves admit this kind of thing when being honest.

But of course 70% poverty losers sitting in UK will deny such because they have formed ghettos of their kind and groupthink around them....whereas no such option is available to those like @bluesky in Japan where they must work hard+assimilate or perish.

As for RMG example, any country in the world will have a better than average layman ethic (on the back of LDC quota) when it employs its womenfolk (who have mouths to feed and are not socially mobile) because the men are too lazy. Same reason grameenbank did a good job by lending to the women, and not the lazy, frivolous BD men.

Their (BD men) work ethic is only upped under taskmaster whip in middle east it seems. When they are given the freedom like in UK, US and Canada etc, they are back to their old ways yet again...as seen by the 70% poverty and reliance on welfare etc.

A couple of things.

Firstly, I will be the first to say Bengalis are typically a special kind of lazy.

That being said, I can only speak for the BD folks in the US.

Generally speaking, those from the first wave in the 70’s and 80’s are doing GREAT.

Those that came to the US at that time were generally educated. Doctors, Dentists, Pharmacists, Engineers etc.

In the mid 90’s up till now, not so much.

I don’t have stats to back this up, but anecdotally from my personal life, Bengalis are doing extremely well.

Bangladeshis are incredibly intelligent and resourceful. But laziness is a vice for sure.

Now to the video. Don’t cherry pick with time stamping. Watch the whole thing.

From the tone beginning to end this production was skewed to be pro India and anti Pakistan.

That being said, listen to the answers of the people.

Some are pretty insightful for a layman.

And as for immediately 2:42 onward, understand who is saying what. All sorts of opinions exist in BD.

Those people happen to be pro-Indian.

Final point.

As time goes on, what I seeing is that if India keeps up its shenanigans, more and more Bengalis are waking up to that fact.

Again on an anecdotal level, people who were personally affected by the Liberation War and harbored hatred towards Pakistan have softened their stances considerably in the present day.

They are recognizing that the Muslims of South Asia need a strong Pakistan.

And maybe India isn’t such a great big brother.

Well do u deny that Bangladesh is more digital than it was in 2010? Export earnings from IT were $120m in 2017 compared to $56m 5 years previously.

Internet is faster and more broadly available - even Google says there are 40m internet users in BD today. Considering how much of the population are children and elderly that is an excellent access rate. I can video call people in my village today, whom I struggled to even phone 7 years ago.

Internet access and internet business has more than doubled in 5 years, what more were you expecting? Robot rickshaws? The ideas you have about progress are unreal.

These statements made by PMs are broad visions and are not meant to happen overnight. The conservatives promised to cut immigration in the UK in 2010, guess what? We are no where close but it is a statement of intent.

Tories had no intention to cut immigation lol
They had full control over non-EU citizens coming into the country after 2010 and those were more numerous than EU citizens. All politicians lie, whether they are in the developed or developing world.

Up to you who you engage with but the poster that you are replying to is now on a 4-week ignore from me for low quality posting. First it was 2 weeks, now 4 weeks and it will double till he either improves the quality of his posts or tries not to engage me anymore.

PM Hasina plans to build aircraft in the country

Emran Hossain Sheikh Published: 15:59, July 24, 2015 | Latest Updates: 16:44, July 24, 2018

All types of aircrafts, helicopters and plane will be built in the country. Lalmonirhat district has been chosen to set up these air-conditioned factories. Initially, the Aeronautical Center will be set up at the abandoned Air Strip of the district, initially the aircraft and helicopters will be repaired and overhauling work, later these aircraft will be made. During the speech at the Deputy Commissioner (DC) conference, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina told her the plan. He also said that he had asked the Chief of Air Staff to take a plan.

The Prime Minister inaugurated the Zila Parishad conference on Tuesday (July 24th) at the Shapla auditorium of the Prime Minister's Office. She said, 'There is an air strip in Lalmonirhat. There are huge places to fall. I've discussed with the Chief of Air Staff. We did a Aeronautical Center in Dhaka. And we will build such an aeronautical center there. In the future, we will be able to build helicopters and also build planes.

Highlighting the potential of Bangladesh, the Prime Minister said, 'Why can not we? We are now building ourselves warships at Khulna Shipyard which was once stopped functioning, was finished. I told the chief of air force to make a plan. It is not only Bangladesh, we will overhaul the air force aircrafts or helicopters of the neighboring countries.

Referring to the introduction of a bullet train to speed up the communication system, the Prime Minister said, "Chittagong can be reached from Dhaka in one hour, Dinajpur in two hours, and from Dhaka to Barisal, He will start the Dhaka-Sylhet bullet train, he said at the time.

She advised to upgrade Sylhet Airport and Saidpur airport as a regional airport.

Referring to the new seaport of Patuakhali Paira, the Prime Minister said, "We will be able to build deep sea port such as deep seaport in Sonadia and Moheshkhali, as well as our pigeon harbor."

Speaking about the increase in citizen facilities in the village, the Prime Minister said, "Our future plan is that every village becomes a city. We want to build a planned city at district, upazila and union level. The people of the village also get equal citizenship benefits. Then people will not be city-wide. Sitting in his own area will get all the benefits. People should be able to live with the benefits of the citizen.

The head of the government, emphasizing on waste management, to build a new city, said, "We have now become in trouble because we did not take action at the beginning of Dhaka.
As far as upazila and union level, we want to build industries, multi-storey buildings, office courts, so now you have to see the issue of waste management. If this happens then there will be no worry in the future. '

The Prime Minister advised the Deputy Commissioners to take initiatives to provide housing facilities to upazila and union level government employees. He said he would build multi-storied buildings beside each upazila headquarters.

Wrong timing. First BAN should cross 500B dollar economy because now a days it is very expensive business and funds need to be flow without interruption

A high tech society like Japan cannot build their own airplane or jet fighters yet hussani thinks BD can do that

Look who we have here..
Savages supporter!

Dumbo, this is the start of the BD aviation industry and the first plane will be a propeller driven trainer.
BD knows it will take at least half a century of effort before it gets anywhere in aviation.
