PIA is full of leeches, those leeches are sucking the blood form the airliner. the biggest of those leeches are the retired employees, most of whom have moved to western countries and still continue to suck blood from the airliner in the form of two tickets per year....paying customer dont get a seat for months while leeches fly freely because of currently employed leeches reserve seats for malik saab and chaudry saab, and half of the plane is always filled by leeches. On top of that PPP always over over staff PIA by 10 of thousands. Cut the blood supply for these leeches and Airliner will get healthy again, only way to cut the blood supply is to privatize it

I was watching Hasb-e-hall last night if anyone of you watched it where they were talking about how expat Pakistanis are getting screwed by everyone in pakistan, by brother and sister, parents and uncles and friends. I have countless stories and those of you who live outside must have few of your own, where an individual living outside the country get royally screwed actually f'ed by relatives in Pakistan. In fact every pakistani living outside has one of more stories of their own.
thats the country you live in, those are the people you live among and you worry about assets being sold to greedy elite??

Provided new management pays TAXES to Pakistani government and promises NEW brand new planes to service Pakistani why not ....
Also I must add that ample attention has to be paid on airhostess clothes as well
we need something libral and modern , modest but a little sense of adventure
I would also approve something like this below classy elegant and looks good on eyes
and smiling is always a plus good for mood while you are in air 10,000 feet above a smile brightens your day
If these humble suggestions are taken By PIA I will certainly endorse , the purchase of next PIA ticket
No auntees over 29 year old age please ...

There is a need to look at the process of privatization of commercial entities a little differently in terms of their value as "national assets". What makes PIA a "national asset" at this point in time when almost all of the areas within Pakistan served by PIA are also served by private domestic and foreign airlines?
I would argue that PIA's importance to Pakistan (in the present) lies in its ability to generate revenues for the government. Those revenues can also be generated in the form of "taxes" paid by profitable and well managed "private PIA", with significantly lower risk for the taxpayer (in terms of being responsible for the annual losses that the government has to cover). There are certain sectors of the economy that warrant continued government control because the of national security and economic reasons, but organizations like PIA and Pakistan Steel no longer fall in that category - they did fall into those categories decades ago when they were first established, and Pakistan needed an airline/steel mills to service a country/market in its infancy, but that time is long past, and there is no strategic, national security or economic reason for the government to retain control of these two entities (at least).

From government's prespective , if the institue was aming 10 Billion Dollars / year , yes its makes money for Pakistan would be great to retain it , but politicians do not have the knowledge to run a aircraft company
Private sector is a good area with joined partnership provided
