People from India, China out-educating Americans in maths and technology: Barack Obama

Chinese PISA participants were the one screened by CCP and only the highest scoring Shanghai was allowed to be published by CCP @shuttler @Speeder 2

Andreas Schleicher, one of the OECD officials responsible for PISA, said " he was not surprised at Shanghai’s good showing, but he was surprised at how well rural provinces did on PISA."

Your Tamil Nadu, one of the best states in primary education, came in LAST. India is last!!!!!!!!!

Yes, unlike China our government didn't screened students to get high score, they also didn't forced PISA to block the lower scores unlike that of rural China.

Perhaps you failed to comprehend my point. So you too believe kids of Shanghai has same level compared to rural kids of Tamil Nadu mainly coming from poor families studying in government funded schools with free meal.

You do realize that the India team sent to PISA test in 2009 is not from some rural village right? PISA test is for the best students a nation can send. If you believe "rural kids of Tamil Nadu" represents the best education in India, then there is clearly bigger problem for you to worry.

LOL, you can't comprehend the article you posted? You need to go for your own PISA test LOL, LOL
Andreas Schleicher, "the secrecy guarding most Chinese provinces’ PISA scores isn’t hiding poor performance that may embarrass Chinese officials. Schleicher also said he was not surprised at Shanghai’s good showing, but he was surprised at how well rural provinces did on PISA

Actually, you are not allowed to pre-screen the students. What you can do is to say which region can be tested. The students are chosen randomly. In Germany all federal states are obliged to participate.

There should be no China / Chinese used in the same breath with Indian Americans when we speak of any success measures in America.

Indians not only out do, and far superior than the Chinese in the US , but Chinese are also welfare abusers in America. We've shown studies, data and stats to back it up.

now do you realize how low the IQ you've sunken into after reading the above post # 108, 109 and 110 about your accusation of screening of Chinese students for the PISA tests?

The publication was done by the PISA organisation independently not by China!

Puff your chillum harder and see if there are any more ridiculous hallucinations!

Which institution uses welfare recipient of immigrant as an indication of success? Low IQ indian. The success of your people is judged by your country's performance. India ranked last in most social indicators. 1/3 of the world's poverty are Indians yet your govt cannot afford to give them welfare. LOL. Your Ave IQ is 82, higher only than african countries. Your GDP per capita 1/4 of China. Your literacy rate is not even 80%. ......I'm getting tired. Spare me your stupidity, take his chart to your indian forum. LOL

This is last years' selection of the some of the best and brightest scientists from around the world.

World-Class Scientists Chosen for HHMI’s First International Early Career Award
http://www.hhmi.org/news/world-class-scientists-chosen-hhmi-s-first-international-early-career-award

The 28 recipients, chosen from 760 applicants, represent a wide range of disciplines, from neuroscience to virology to plant science. All the awardees trained in the United States as a graduate student or a postdoctoral fellow and have published important research. “These are the people who, 10 years from now, we expect will be the scientific leaders in their countries,” HHMI President Robert Tjian says.

The countries with the most IECS awardees are China (7), Portugal (5), and Spain (5), but recipients are also based in nine other countries: Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Hungary, India, Italy, Poland, South Africa, and South Korea. Nine of the 28 (32 percent) are women.

All of our scientists selected were home-grown talents! How many "indigenous" indians are there?

Speaking before PM, the Union science and technology and earth sciences minister Vilasrao Deshmukh too had evoked a comparison with China to claim that India was lagging behind on applied sciences. "China publishes five times more patents than India for every billion US dollars of GDP," he said.

Indian engineers at bottom of BRIC layer: Study
March 29, 2012
http://www.hindustantimes.com/India...ttom-of-BRIC-layer-Study/Article1-832302.aspx

A study by California's Stanford University has shown that among the four BRIC countries - Brazil, Russia, India and China - Indian engineers are the least prepared to play a leading role in the global economy.

The study was conducted before South Africa joined the grouping that now goes by the acronym BRICS.

Written by a multi-national team, the study will be published later this year. In India the five-year research project undertook 7,000 student surveys and interviewed 40 institutional heads and engineering faculty face-to-face. The yardstick was improving quality, being cost-effective and ensuring equitable

Stanford professor Rafiq Dossani points out that
China is well ahead of India in providing quality education in mass institutions and elite colleges.

Chinese only do good inside China, because cheating and plagiarism is a cultural trait of the Chinese.

No wonder once they are out of their cheating culture most chinese are found living on dole.

.
I don't need think posting articles about China Better than india is needed because anyone with IQ of 70 know that. Only inferior indians need articles to reinforce their "superiority". We know better.

.
The great Chinese IQ works only inside china, out of country Chinese are generally found running cheap restaurants...:D
