As usual, dumb indian burning with jealousy. Can't you argue based on facts??? Or is is your low IQ that you can't understand the article? The american author is axx sore that Shanghai took first place, arguing that Shanghai does not represent entire China. But every country is free to select the states or city to participate. China is so keen to test itself that it even volunteered 12 provinces to take the test, although Shanghai is the official entry. The rural province score came close to OECD average.
You country selected Tamil Nadu, which is one of your strongest state in education. Yet it came second last in PISA.
Shanghai spends more on students is not different from any city in China. All major urban city in the world spend more on education than the rural areas, be it China or US. Do you realize how dumb your argument is??? So if China select Beijing, are you going to accuse it of being elitist? Do you which city/state US chose their students????? There are big cities too I will give you a clue, you dumb indian.
You argument reeked of so much jealousy that you failed to comprehend Hong Kong, Singapore, Korea, and Japan top the test too???? Are you saying they are all only select students from good families?? PISA much pretty affirmed general population IQ and the success of the country.
