It wasn't even PAD which he posted, rather the target missile for PAD test. Before posting this pictures and exposing your BS knowledge on the subject, at least learn to post correct picture. The picture you posted is not PDV but it is PAD.

I meant the seeker is the most advanced part of the missile. So you accept that seeker is most advance!!!!!!!!
Thank you.
It is ours.
Just envy. You can't do anything.
My mistake, apologize. Quoted the PDV wrongly.
The PDV radar showed to public as posted above:
You may find the interesting what the awesome Indian's engineer were doing: they simply enlarged the radar disk base on PAD which has Russia blood.
1) Did not increase power wattage, they may share the same power supply, such as batteries, amplify. It's limited by India domestic industrial ability.
2) Flawed layout design even though it's only a prototype ---- it's assembled.
As per the pointy radome structure, basically you have to cone the radar module . Like this: (KH-35)

Or like this
(photo from ausairpower.net)
They have big device and power supply module, a smaller plate.
From PAD, it was wrong:
You may find the improper body-radar size on PAD missile.
Comes to PDV, no change, it's even worse:
Don't expect the real radar inside will be a lot of different since PAD lives like this for long long time already.
Reason: 1) No compact rocket engine, over sized body of missile.
2) No optimization of radar design.
Impressive and regret.

India may have the ability to assemble it. Core parts are definitely imported ---- doesn't matter, even US purchased lots of parts from manufacturers other than from US. Enjoy for free!
Difference Btw Pdv and arrow 2 Is. Pdv is a Balanced Altitude Interceptor and Arrow 2 is a Long range interceptor comparable to Aegis & Aester Missile defense SystemHello Guys!!!!!!!!
In order to get familiarize with india's new BMD system called PDV, I am starting this thread to discuss the compression of Israeli arrow II system against PDV of India. All defense enthust are requested to post their views. Israeli members are specially invited to contribute to this forum in addition to Indian, Pakistani and Chines members.
I have posted Arrow 2 specification from Wiki since PDV specifications are not available.
No trolling please.
Let us discuss.

can serve as ASAT
How since ceiling is very low?
may be it has various profiles...one of them is ASAT.see, even India said Agni-3 can be converted as ASAT..
Agni-III could be modified for use as anti-satellite weapon, says DRDO chief - Indian Express
now, this can be BS,or,they can truly.then again,ASAT isn't something very "Sophisticated" tech.even Air launched missiles can serve as ASAT.
ASM-135 ASAT - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Russia probably use Mig-31D for this role.though the missile(previously known as Kontakt) for this role is unknown.
even an ASAT based on AIM 120 has been developed which would use F-15/F-22/F-35.
40 Years In The Desert: AIM-120 AMRAAM Modified for Missile Intercept
way too much above our level.
if some people doesn't know,AIM 120 has limited ABM capability against missiles like Scud.
Why don't u enlighten us by telling about a compact high altitude interceptor? And plz do tell from where the seeker is imported from ? USA or Israel or RUSSIA or may be China? Cause china has most sophisticated semiconductor manufacturing. My mistake, apologize. Quoted the PDV wrongly.

Not at all. Arrow 2 was designed for threats of 200-2500 km range.can engage even smaller missiles like Kassam or Grad
This is about Arrow 3. What do you know about its ceiling? How since ceiling is very low?
