We need more investment for engines and weapons for these ships.

At least the radars need to be aesas.anything lesser is unacceptable in this day and age.why are we not fitting drdo s-band aesa developed for aew&c?

Until then there is little to cheer about.

But yeah sonars are indian in our ships and finally we have started producqgng warship grade steel, thats good

I don't know much about these things
But I know that the Structure they have on that EMB plane is also AESA
So can we not fit that into these ships

Is there any ship that is totally Chinese? Totally American? In this age of globalisation it is simply wasteful to build something 100% indigenous.

Of course India has a long way to go to increase the indigenous content of its products....
