Heard Scotland was by far the best place to visit in the UK. Never been in UK so don't know.

I see so many cars with F on their number plate visiting the UK during the summer time especially on the London circular M25. I suppose after brexit won't see so many French tourist.

Only the French obey UK speeding regulation how odd is that . everyone else is speeding. What places do you plan to visit? I have been abroad more than seen the British Isles

Ferries are expensive this time of year, P&O are charging something like £170.

Tourism contributes more than a fair share to the British economy, I'm hoping for some kind of travel deal, lets hope for the best.

Don't forget to use your phone whilst driving.

I've read there were speed cameras everywhere and cops weren't very kind when it comes to overspeeding. I might forget about this after all.

It would also be foolish to think they won't send the fines to my home.

To my understand overseas vehicles and drivers pay fines on the road side, in cash or check.

For rental vehicles, the minute you return the vehicle, you will be asked to pay the rental company for the amount.

places to visit in the summer........ lake district, peak district and down south , London, Oxford, Cambridge, Dover etc. be warned they can be annoying and rude. i dont like travelling down south only if i have to and i definitely avoid staying the night there. note london is expensive.

we do have som good theme parks. thorpe park, lightwater valley, flamingo land, drayton manor etc......

the police wont tolerate people with phones behind the wheel as it shows your concentration level is near par with that of a person who is over drink drive limit. best use hands free or bluetooth.

Don't get me started on theme parks, I love Thrope Park, I used to love that water slide near the entrance and that ride "X No way Out" or what ever it was called.
Alton Towers is a great place to visit aswell, enjoyable for all age groups! If you have kids then Leggo Land is the place to go.

There are so many Poles driving left hand cars it's not difficult at all, just don't forget to drive of the right side when you get back .

I just remembered Me and my friends were stopped in France, the police were stopping all vehicles making random checks. I was riding shotgun and the copper came to my side. I lowered my window he looked there was no steering. i'll never forget the way he reacted he stepped back suddenly then went to the front and looked at the number plate. Plates are not required to have GB stamped on them so it was just Letters and numbers.

bloody shame if you ask me. I travelled across the continent without a Visa, now you might need Visas to visit all those countries.
