PDF Brits: Places to visit in the UK?

Bradistan? That is offensive, Bradford is still Predominantly English. clearly never been there.

Bradford is so behind infrastructure wise and the people there are..no comment lol. But the food is good :P

17?! Well you come across as very mature. Obviously you have had a good upbringing.
I'm honored sir, thank you for your kind words!

best place in the uk................. the lake district, but go in the summer
Lake District is my second home in the summer, love the speed boats, roads and national parks!

Does it always rain in London?
London is warm compared to other cities. The weather is great in the summer and doesn't rain much compared to other cities.

Try taking a drive through south East UK through B roads and avoid motorways. Drive through country side is amazing. Have some breakfast in local village pub on your journey. I normal endup on devil's dyke near brighton to reflect and chill with Mrs and kids.

Well people, it's that time of the year where holidays are just around the corner, people are enjoying the Christmas atmosphere, lights on the streets and the ronak (I can't think of a good translation for ronak).

I on the other hand want to travel around the UK during the two weeks off from college. I would love some recommendations! Something to do with nature would be great, for example Aber Falls, Lake District, Peak District. I want an adventure and i'm always open to visit and and experience new things so anything should be alright.

Go to the spa City of Bath - you will love it. The entire town is made of sandstone and kept as it was 500 years ago.

I took some relatives from America recently, they were blown away.

Bath is great, so are most traditional towns and cities. Rye is another good one in the South East of England. Although it's not on the scale or grandeur of Bath, it's close to the seaside and it's quite charming, some of it looks like this with its cobbled streets:

It's great for showing tourists around. And although I haven't been here, not too far to Bath are places like the Cotswolds in Gloucestershire, another one on my list of places to see.

Oh I love all that!

The only place worth visiting in UK as far as i am aware is "SCOTLAND" :P
Else you can plan a day or two trip to London and explore all those historic sites, that is it.

However i do not think it is worth visiting north in the winters :)

Been to every place in London, it’s a little too cold for the North. Maybe a trip to Isle of white or Man. :)

Never been to Stonehenge, good idea!

you can do stonehenge, salisbury(nice little town) day 1 and bath day 2. They are pretty close, so even if you use public transport its not much hassle.
Are you traveling alone?

i wnder why north everywhere is so cold?:rolleyes1: like in Pakistan northern areas are too cold and see alot of snow fall, the north in GOT is also cold and in Britain too
GOT took inspiration from events in britain.... there is a lot of influence from wars of roses, in which two royal houses(house of lancaster and house of york) fought for throne of England.

Don't go Stonehenge in winter I went there new years day 14. I froze my bollocks off. I learned what the phrase chilled to bone meant.

It was bitterly cold. Worst thing was the wind chill and it's open country no protection from the elements. Hot cup of coffee got cold in 10 seconds!

I got home and jumped into bed with teeth stuttering like the way they do in cartoons.

.
Heard Scotland was by far the best place to visit in the UK. Never been in UK so don't know.
