when i saw that take off, actually the first thing really came to my mind was that how much its under powered!!

Watch PAF F-16 display in Izmir in 2011. They do the same that JFT does in this video. And F-16's TWR is clearly on display in that video. That display looks this JFT's video a slow moving F16 from Izmir.

JF-17 is a filler plane, support plane for much superior F-16.

Given a chance, and supply reliability, PAF would go for F-16 in a heart beat.

Affordability and availability are the downside of F-16 and hence JF-17.

We should be proud that PAF is there in Paris. This is a HUGE.

Hope you don't ruin this achievement by talking about F-16..

The manoeuvre has little to do with the engine and more to do with kinetic energy built up at the takeoff roll.

Indeed but T/O and Landing are two most criticle phases of flying which gives less time of reaction and result in catastrophic result in case of any serious malfunction.Kinectic energy rather i would call it momentum was given by the engine and engine supported the aircraft in maintaining that momentum all the way into skies.

I completely agree no doubt but what i said was in the reference to its engine still being under powered, which must change.
