What's new

Parachute Regiment of Indian Army copying Pakistani SSG Commandos.

. .
India should send their troops here for Training. Then they do not need to copy.We will train you better.

.
Indians do copy indeed also That's why am against youtube videos showing how our forces carry out operations.Indian forces copy a lot off our tactics and I have seen that throughout their videos which are uploaded on youtube am happy Mahaaz was stopped
So pakistan copied the 101s goose step that they copied from the nazis, whats the point here?
Who is the real inventor of this march style? Pak SSG? OR was it there before?
@MastanKhan @Slav Defence @HRK?
I don't know but SSG being a special force was deemed to be displayed differently from the standard forces. To give them distinction, this style was adopted.

"Jog marching" ( I don't know its technical name ) is a common practice in West Asian and North African military parades. For example, watch this vid about the Libyan military march in happier, Green times.

Though I don't know its origin.

They were all trained by SSG.

Surely...Even Saudi and some factions of Iraqi soldiers were taught the same ...You guys are the latest in copying it. Nothing new btw...you guys copy thing at national level and brand it Hindustani....chill.

Do you have concrete proof to that marching style's Pakistani origin ??

And I am not saying that it was India which created it. Actually, I am not really interested in military things. Just that I thought I knew a bit of something in this case. :)

. . .
I guess it was changed after regular army personnel started doing Basic Airborne course(Paratrooping). "Airborne" is the the slogan of all Para Training School graduates. Before that only SSG did it.
I saw a video of SSG marching on 23rd march parade during the 1980s chanting "Airborne Airborne".

When was it changed to "Allah Hu" ?
"Airborne" chant had anything to do with British SAS ??

Yeah, no.....that's not the goose step. Not even close. Good job.

Ah...I see it now. They must've changed it cuz SSG is not just airborne...plus, "Allah hu" has more valor.

It was first changed to "Ya Ali" and then to "Allah Hu". Heard it was done during Zia's time.
