However, what's your say on this?

Not anything much different from that of any normal Pakistani with some little bit of sense. We all know the truth here, we all know what is best for the country. Now it is all about priorities, for some it is politics and political parties, for me it is my country. So my take on all this is really the same as that of any other regular Pakistani guy.

For some details here is what i have to say on this:

For me it is not about PTI anymore. The panel will have to choose between NS and Pakistan here. People do not have any idea how damaging and embarrassing it will be for Pakistan if the culprits walk free from here. The whole thing is crystal clear and if the judges decide to hide behind technicalities and law then the world will know about that but only about how the corrupt were given a free pass. Court have a tough choice to make. Either follow in the traditions (not were high and proud) and just decide to look the other way or set an example by making an extremely tough decision that might even look to be harmful for the stability of the country in short term but will have EXCELLENT long term consequences.

Well anything is possible. Either it can all turn out to be topi drama or it may all be actual sentiments of the panel and if so, it wont be good news for NS. The problem here, as i mentioned previously as well, is that the case is more of a Pakistan vs Nawaz Sharif now. EVERYONE no what have happened, you can hide behind the law or the technicalities but the truth is out in the open and well known now and the whole world knows it. A free pass to NS and Co. will be VERY embarrassing for Pakistan and Pakistanis at international level. A certificate of us being corrupt to the core that is. This is something SC knows as well (i hope so)


However, i still cant say much with confidence. My mind keeps telling me what i have believed in from the start, a verdict which both sides can claim as victory and then "matti pao" for an year, followed by elections (by which time people would have forgotten everything, AS WE ALMOST ALWAYS DO). On the other hand, my heart says (specially after following the proceedings of last few days, most of all the conv. between AG and SC) that we may set an example so that anyone in future with these powers will not dare to abuse them. A decision we as Pakistanis can be proud of and one that will restore the faith of many in the institutes and systems..

100% True. Just want to add that while NS will be luckiest man alive, it will be Pakistan which will be the most unlucky country. The proceedings are being followed worldwide and to be very honest, it is quite clear and evident what the inside story actually is. It is a no brainer. NS and his family are guilty of corruption and fraud. It is all about admitting it or covering it up now. Even the NS supporters are not coming out to say that it is not true. All they will say is, agar nahiat he bysharm hon tu, to PROVE it. Now if we as a nation declare this and disapprove such corrupt leaders, the world will take it just like another day, no extravagant appreciation, just a usual day with “justice served”. However cover it up and you will be the country with a corrupt PM, protected by a corrupt NAB and FBR and covered up by a corrupt SC.


AS for the big day tomorrow, from the very start of the case I have been saying that I do not expect a clear but verdict in this one. It is likely that the decision will be a confusing one, something that both sides will claim as victory. However the proceedings of the last two days if giving me other indication. The SC judges were quite furious. The discussion and dialogue between the bench and AG is a very very clear indication about of direction the case is heading to. It was simply a case of SC stating how they can give THE VERDICT and AG trying to convince them not to do so by saying there are institutions for this job. The response was priceless, “JB ADARAY KAAM NI KRAIN GY TU YEHI HO GA NA. Plus the way judges were giving examples of previous cases where PM was punished or where a decision against the guilty party, it was clear enough. Only other thing that Khosa sahib could have done was to say “bahi hm tu NS ko latkany lagy haan, tum na jo krna ha kr lo”


However being a Pakistani and being part of this society and system for years, I am trying to keep my hopes and optimism in check here. Koi pata ni chlta yaar apnay yahan!!


LETS SEE WHAT HAPPENS.


For me, it is a case that either NS and Co. will lose or PAKISTAN will lose. I hope we are all siding with Pakistan on this one!!

They were all looking forward to get the investigation referred to NAB, but after his statement in court, NAB will be the last institution which SC will use for investigation.
