First link has Andleeb Abbas of PTI claiming that:
"Imran Khan saab ki source of income jo hai wo apni aap ko pata hai wo 3 ya 4 conferences pay jatay hain wo and he's one of the most listened to and highly paid speaker in the world and us kay ilawa kitabain unho nay likhi hui hain us ki royalty aati hai, sub kuch declared hai, aur inko jaha jaha shak hai inko chaiyay hokumat kay ikhtiyar may inko notice bhaijain aur unpay action lain, yeh action ku nai laytay, yeh hukumat may hotay action nai laytay"
So IK funds his personal expenses with the paid conferences that he attends? Then why does the second link that you posted show IK declare earnings from land only? Does he not pay income tax on income he generates as "one of the most listened to and highly paid speaker in the world"?
Also, the second link shows IK increase his land holdings from 931 kanals 2-marla in 2011 to 8-acres 1282 kanals 15-marlas in 2012. How did he pay for this?
Finally, according to this
link IK paid only Rs. 76,244 in income tax in 2015. I pay more in a week
but I can't afford to live like him
how can one of the best paid public speakers in the world, who also receives royalties for books he's written, and receives income from substantial land holdings pay less tax than than any person with a decent job even in a third world country
I'm still confused. Can anyone else help out? It not money from his cricketing days, he's already admitted (in the clip I posted) that he made peanuts doing that.
