SLAMABAD: The Supreme Court on Wednesday asked Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to elaborate about the businesses owned by the Sharif family saying the court cannot review political statement, nor can it announce a verdict on the basis of news reports.

A five-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali resumed the hearing of Panama Leaks case on Wednesday. The bench asked PTI counsel to elaborate as to wherefrom the capital for Jeddah steel mill came and how was the money transferred to London.

the real hard nut is the court statement that Maryam being married, can either be a under her father's dependency, meaning she does not have enough means to live on, or can be a billionaire who own nelson and nescol..... she cannot be both as PTI lawyers are portraying.... both stances are exclusive of each other....

without this stance accepted , NS has clean chit as his own name is not in panama and he is only linked with papers through Maryam....which PTI says is his dependant

That would do. .but they are arguing there was not the right column in the election commission form... its upto court i would say to decide whom to give benefit of doubt

She denied her signatures on the documents, and said that all the documents are fake..

Her husband's tax return showing her as his dependent will also be acceptable..

She said that the flats were transferred as a business deal by Al Thani family to her grandfather in 2005.. (everyone knows that he died in 2004).

Panama Leaks: false accusations, truth will prevail, says Hassan Nawaz

Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif’s son Hassan Nawaz has said that all accusations on Sharif family regarding Panama papers are wrong, and Sharif family will prevail.

Talking to a private TV channel after visiting Zubair Gull, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) United Kingdom (UK) president and Federal Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis, Hassan Nawaz said that Zubair Gull is a fighter of PML-N and also a part of our family, and his contribution to the party is unforgettable.

Earlier, some unidentified persons carried out an attack at the house of Zubair Gull on Thursday and critically wounded him. Zubair Gull was transferred to the hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s daughter Maryam Nawaz took to twitter, as well to elaborate how Sharif family has presented itself for accountability.

Maryam said that it takes courage to present three generations for accountability, and anybody who has done wrong things will not present him/ herself for that.

Maryam further said that no other political family in Pakistan has undertaken what her family has done by presenting themselves for the accountability and giving details of their assets and properties.

Maryam Nawaz said that her signatures on documents of Nescol Company are fake.

She said that there were five houses in the Raiwand estate. In the first house her grandmother Shamim Akhtar lived. In the second house her parents, the Prime Minister and the first lady, lived. The third house is occupied by her late Uncle Abbas Sharif's family. While in the fourth house CM Punjab Shehbaz Sharif resides and the fifth house is occupied by Maryam Nawaz herself.

Mayfair flats in London are owned by her brother Hussain Nawaz while also terming the documents pertaining to Nescol Company as forged.

The reply further stated that shares of offshore companies were issued to Hussain Nawaz on July 4, 2006. Hussain Nawaz informed about the offer of Al-Sani family in 2005 after which settlements were carried out in June 2016.

Hussain Nawaz wanted to form trust about offshore companies which will allow Shariah distribution of assets after his death, she added.
