Issue with Memogate and Dawn Leak are that the traitors in each were/are the heads of the nation. Zardari in one case, Nawaz in the other. Removing either at that time would have caused an uproar and perhaps establishment is not ready to make any of these two siassi shaheeds - a lesson learnt from Bhutto hanging to BB coming to power and then having someone like NS to counter BB.

Had others (officers etc) being the primary mujrims with established Indian/foreign connections in these cases, they would have been had.

Zardari will never regain power after Memogate, and Nawaz will never regain power after Dawn Leaks. One lesson was learnt from Memogate and that was to not share details of strategic assets with this tola in the future.

Yes hopefully verdict will come against Nawaz Sharif...at best, i am hoping for 4-1 verdict against nawaz sharif..this will be the best i am hoping for, or atleast 3-2..... It will be perfect divine justice for dawn leaks, if Nawaz Sharif gets disqualified through panama case..

Lekin Maryam ka bhi koi intezam karna chahye, as she was the main culrpit/mastermind behind dawn leaks... Maryam cant be disqualified through panama case.. Us ke liye trap dawn leaks hosakta hai...
Maryam Aurangzeb in Aaj news prog..with a very satisfied look on her face said ke dawn leaks report aanay wali hai.. Is se tu nahi lagta ke shahzadi sahiba ka naam us report main aayega... Even Shahid Masood who exaggerates things a lot..and says ke ye hoga..woh hoga..and i think we should discount everything he says by 50% ..even he was saying ke govt ne behind the scenes...dawn leaks par maamlat manage kar liye hain..aur dawn leaks ka malba tariq fatmi aur ek aadh bureaucrat par daal diya hai......although he is the one who always say ke koi NRO nahi horaha......although i dont always trust Shahid Masood's news..lekin unki yeh news bilkol theek lag rahi hai, esp after watching...the satisfied look on Maryam Aurangzeb's face when she said ke dawn leaks ki report aanay wali hai. @PakSword

People who happen to be strong supporters of PML, i had a chat the other day with one of them, I asked him first about Panama and than that this is NS third term and next in line is another BB he was kind of amazed and said he doesnt think so but when i said that NS trusts no one other than few close abides and family member so he wouldnt be giving the party to someone outside of his circle of influence, he said if that happens rest assured PML will lose a lot of its voter base. Now i took his words with a pinch of salt reason being we know how blindly these voters go otherwise we wouldnt be seeing NS in the first place however will Mariyam really be over if Nawaz goes? I have my doubts reason being considering this is already 4th year of PML and his last term as premier, so naturally he would had made arrangements since he took power as we saw how active Mariyam was during 2013 elections.

Here is my reply to a somewhat similar question in another thread in a discussion between myself and @The Eagle in an off limit thread.

IF NS is disqualified and there is a investigative trial that follows up, no new names will be able to help PMLN much. I understand that we, the public, do have short term memories but we all will agree that political sense of general public is way better than what it was in the 90s or even until 2008-2010!! People are better aware of their good and bad and once the leader of the party is dragged through mud with all his kaky kakian implicated as well the party is bound to further lose its popularity.

The remaining part of that post contained a detailed plan of how i, together with the eagle, will assassinate a few guys and attack certain institutes next weekend in our free time, i think you wont be interested in that part of it so i just leave that out.

What i am trying to say on this issue is that while we still follow the leaders like sheep but level of awareness have increased and people are more connected and concerned now. If the Panama case disqualifies NS it will be a huge blow to the entire system of corrupts especially PMLN as people will all see and know them as thieves.

I live in Faisalabad, loads and loads of PMLN supports here, i do not see them these days anymore. IN worst case, they are all embarrassed and quiet about the whole matter, chosing not to talk about it at all and in some better cases they are admitting and are aware that they have been cheated and are talking against it. A verdict against the corruption will destroy or at least badly damage the corrupts as well.

Let us see and pray that in this battle of NS and Pakistan we come out as victors!! (Legally as well)

Waisy ..mujhe is book ke pasand aanay ya na aanay main doosre bhi bhtt factors count karein ge Jaisy ke agar ..in case...baad main panama case ka verdict garbar aaya then..will never recommend this book to anyone Othwerise i will love this book...

So..i think...to give you a fair account of..how the book was....i will tell you, before panama case verdict comes..and i think I should be able to do tht.. Hopefully I will finish the book within 2 days, InshaAllah....once i get this book.
