Let me tell you the real story behind all these evidences.
1 - Even if PTI submits company registration documents under the name of hasan/ hussain/ maryam, court will ask for attested, verified copy. Photocopies are not acceptable. I heard someone in PTI once said that Maryam's passport copy is attested, but he didn't realize that it is again a "copy of the "attested copy"". PTI being a third party, can't get the documents attested.
2 - When PMLN brought the Qatari letter, they have in fact said that there is no money transferred from Pakistan, so there is no trail as well. To prove Qatari letter wrong, PTI needs to submit what I have mentioned in point #1, which they can't get.
3 - Burden of proof on Sharif family is from 2006 onward, not prior to 2006, because they have only "accepted" the ownership of property from 2006. To prove this claim wrong, PTI needs to submit what I have mentioned in point #1, which they can't get. There is a reason why the best lawyers also say that even after Panama leaks, if they hadn't accepted the ownership, it would have been extremely difficult to prove the ownership.
4 - The evidences that can destroy Qatari letter are (a) decree of UK court in Al Taufeeq lawsuit, (b) the investigation performed by FIA/ NAB in the past.
5 - We have no idea why court is reluctant in (a) accepting the court decree. For (b), they are just taking the responsibility off their shoulders by saying that WHY NAB DIDN'T PURSUE THE CASE.
6 - Any recording, if done without the knowledge of the target, is not an acceptable evidence in the court of law.
The only benefit that we can get from this Panama case is that it can serve as an awareness campaign against known crooks. But the downside is that our nation is mostly illiterate and doesn't understand their rights. In any western society, millions of people would have been on the streets by now. This is the difference in the maturity levels between us and them.
So I am telling you the result of this case now:
1 - NS and his family will be acquitted due to insufficient evidence. (due to technicalities)
2 - They will win again in 2018 (due to immaturity, illiteracy of our nation)
Why I am following the case? Because I want to see the level of noora's beghairti and the level of our awam's behisi.
Now this is where our law is silent.. It is on court's discretion to get the docs attested, or they may give clean chit based on whatever available with them.
Remember what happened in Dhandli case? They didn't move an inch despite having all the powers to investigate any irregularities and put all the burden of proof on PTI that they couldn't bring sufficient evidence.
