ISLAMABAD: Justice Asif Saeed Khosa Thursday said offshore company itself is not a problem; what is wrong is its use for the purpose of assets concealment and tax evasions.

A five-member bench of Supreme Court of Pakistan headed by Justice Asif Saeed Khosa is hearing the Panamagate scandal case today (Thursday).

The court said the case pertains to Nawaz Sharif’s eligibility as a Prime Minister of Pakistan, as Sheikh Azmat Saeed remarked Nawaz Sharif’s holding of PM House has been challenged.

On this, the PM’s counsel Makhdoom Ali Khan said Nawaz Sharif can be disqualified as a member of the National Assembly.

The court queried Khan, “Did father purchase the land in the name of his daughter?” Makhdoom Ali Khan replied affirmatively that Nawaz Sharif bought the estate in Maryam’s name.

The record of the property purchased in Maryam’s name was produced before the bench.

It should be mentioned here that petitioners including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Awami Muslim League (AML) have already completed their arguments. –SAMAA

Waqayi... Never thought in my dreams tht i would say this...lekin ab tu pakora judge bhi justice ijaz afzal k saamnay farishta lagta hai....

Although dil se tu pakora judge bhi...shayad ab bhi nawaz sharif ke saath hoga... Lekin thora sudhar gaya hai..aur kisi hadd tak pakora judge ka zameer jaag hi gaya hai...

Lekin justice ijaz afzal is a hopeless case

I just hope tht if verdict comes against nawaz sharif, it should be atleast 4-1, not 3-2.... Ijaz afzal se tu umeed rakhna bewaqoofi hai...lekin i hope atleast baqi judges apnay zameer ki awaz sunein...badhshah salamat ki nahi....

Pakora judge...plzz akhir tak poori tarah sudhar jao...

Judges knw EVERYTHING.... Case is clear par woh isliye inko time day rahay hain kay kal ko ye na kahain kay hamko defence ka mooka nahi diya gaya.. Court ko ye b pata hey kay ye hamara WAQT zaya kar rahay hain.... Nawaz Sharif tu disqualify hoga he hoga kuch ho ya na hoo
