Asma Jehangir ridiculed LHCBA earlier - and basically stated "this case of PM is a non issue" - so let's see which side of lawyers can build the momentum - one is in face saving mode, while other is on face exposing mode!

There are rightly or wrongly some expectations from jawaans- this posturing will put him in difficult spot in the eyes of a lot that matters for him.

As for Riaz Pirzada - his local political requirements are such that he needs special attention of N$ - as his main opponents Gardezis / Syed Ahmed Mahmoud group have fallen into Zardaris lap and getting a lot of attention these days and Riaz Pirzada has to up his game to show his relevance to his constituents in Bahawalpur area.

It could be a attention seeking twist from Pirzada Sb as local level leadership is looking to ditch him for obviously known reasons.

Maybe now..COAS comes out of NRO mode on dawn leaks..and hopefully we see some substantial steps being taken on it... I really hope so........ And by substantial steps ..i dont mean...tht baji Maryam should be arrested now....but atleast some others should be arrested, under army act regd dawn leaks....who can, during investigation, name the real culprit..ie shahzadi maryam.. But only those ppl should be arrested, who are actually involved in tht scandal, not some innocent escapegoat should be made...... Would be good, if Fawad hasan fawad is somehow arrested, because he is actually involved in tht scandal, along with baji...

But not sure..if COAS is even willing to take such steps on dawn leaks....for now, the issue seems to be settled between the govt and army

Once the general public tires out with this political elite they will make sure such proposals are implemented. When there is no accountability no wonder politicians make a mockery of the public.
But things are changing and it is only a matter of time before Pakistanis own up to the problems and put forward a national solution to their problems rather than a localized short term solution.

When we cast votes based on progeny, caste, race, religion and color, we basically throw ourselves at the mercy of our 'masters'. In 2017 we are still stirring up population on the slogan of 'real Khan / fake khan' or as we see in Punjab the Patwari vote system. Unless and until we as a nation make our approach nationalist, change is the last thing we deserve.

Yes.. I agree, and to be honest...i am very pleasantly surprised tht i am proven wrong here... However whatever we discussed, on dawn leaks issue, was based on media reports....and past history....its not tht we made something up.........we analysed ..on the media reports..

However again i will say..tht am very pleasantly surprised on this... I have no ill will or personal grudge against any instituition or any individual.....now ..on this issue, tht my assumptions have been proven wrong..I will very happily accept my mistake..rather than being stubborn abt it........and i wish...tht more pleasant surprises keep coming... We all want better for Pakistan, nothing for ourselves...and if we criticise..its not based on any personal grudge...but our sincere desire for the betterment of Pakistan....

Well your response was refreshing indeed. However i was not expecting anything less from you.

BTW, i didnt tagged you or PakSword to say "hey see, you were wrong" NO!! We were all just discussing possibilities and there was no inside news. I just tagged you to show that things can always change for good. Keep that in mind and just keep pushing forward, with faith!! It was just to point that we should ALL avoid making remarks and forming ideas based on speculations and then go one step further and start passing judgements based on those speculations. Let the things play out and just hope and pray for the best while doing whatever little you can to achieve that end goal which is not embarrassing NS or Mariam and dragging them through the mud eventually but the betterment of OUR COUNTRY, Pakistan!!

This is good ... i wish other institutions like Supreme court, Parliment, NAB, FBR and FIA could stand tall against stalemate ...

However, this is just a remarks and justice not served so I am still analyzing the situation and will be satisfied that national security is not compromised if justice is served no matter if it results in harming of daughter of an ordinary man or daughter of PM ...

Anyways armed deserves appreciation for not submitting to gov ill will otherwise these politicians will sale Pakistan in a day ...
