My definition of hostility was between the people. Common Bangladeshis and Indians does not like each other however the government of both the countries are all cool.

Currently Bangladesh's only enemy, both militarily and diplomatically is Myanmar. Whatever people might say but there is a greater chance of Bangladesh being engaged in a war against Myanmar than against India.

India can never annex Bangladesh. People who are showing examples of Sikkim must understand that Sikkim was like Hyderabad state, part of India which became independent and thereafter part of the British empire.

Bangladesh is an UN mandated sovereign state. India will never dare to do such a thing. There will be repercussions.

However I believe our army should be built keeping India in mind too.

I have been to many countries and I do have an interest in visiting Bangladesh. Problem is the visa, there is some kind of sponsorship required not just for Pakistanis visiting BD but also for Bangladeshis visiting Pakistan. Our mutual tourism volume is non existent.

Let's just say if I ever visit BD easily, I'd be spending atleast a thousand dollars. Which is not much. But think about it, what if 1 million Pakistanis visit BD and spend $1K only - that means 1 billion dollars added to BD economy.

Now, let's just say, 1 million Bangladeshis also visiting Pakistan annually adding 1 billion to Pakistan's economy.

More cultural exchanges, more people to people contact etc. win - win for both the parties involved (this might trouble some folks )

PS: If I remember correctly(somebody correct me if not), in the year 2018/19, 2.4 million Bangladeshis visited India and spent around 8 billion dollars - adding that much amount to Indian economy and also increasing their annual visiting foreigners numbers .

I believe Bangladesh is the top country in India for foreign tourists.

Well UN can do nothing actually. When Russia annexed crimea ,USA and NATO shouted and danced too much , nothing could force Russia to leave Crimea.

India may not annex Bangladesh completely. But if they annex part of Bangladesh then UN is not going to help Bangladesh other than shedding crocodile tears .

The world is always very hostile . So in order to stand tall ( it's only way to survive), Bangladesh must maintain a very strong armed forces .

Yes first solve the rohingya issue ,same as like first make needle and never even try to make electronic or don't try to progress in other sector before making needle . Fantastic solution from him no doubt.

Rohingya issue will not solve soon . So in order to compell Myanmer Bangladesh need a strong military force and it's the top priority over anything .

Then it will be easier to solve any problem that Bangladesh is facing .

There is no recomciliation. We feel bad for what happened in years leading to 71 partition of Pakistan. However as is evident it was for the better . Bangladesh and its people are doing great. They were miles seperated from us by enemy territory.

Past is past. We just hope to to see a stronger bangladesh and free one. Away from indian bully tactics . We will suppprt bangladesh just to show india they are not alone.

Diplomacy alone cannot do anything. Diplomacy must be backed with force. Do you think China, USA, Russia will listen to Bangladesh's request? No.

Moreover delaying the Rohingya repatriation will create problems for Bangladesh. As time will pass people will forget the Rohingya crisis and the Rohingya will become mixed with the mainstream Bangladeshi population.

I believe the Rohingya repatriation is already lost cause. Bangladesh should give them citizenship because we cannot feed them for hundreds of years.
