I noticed that Pakistani ethnic groups share folk dances that are very similar to each other and unique only to the greater Indus region. It is as if they are all variants of the same dance.

Punjabis:

Pashtuns:

Seraikis:

Sindhis:

Baloch:

Hazarawal/Hindko:

...and many other ethnic groups of Pakistan

The dance usually involves revolving in a circle formation, swaying the hands up and down, sometimes clapping. Some variants also have twirling and head movement.

I had noticed this too, the 'clapping' and swaying step is interesting, there are similar depictions in Gandharan reliefs.
