Work in nuclear field is different than perusing for weapons, which is a different thing. where does it state that, "He and Abdu lsalam convinced Ayub Khan to start a nuclear program"? don't bend history, state some source or something

Space Programme

On 16 September 1961, through an executive order, the Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SUPARCO) was established of which Salam was made its first and founder director of the agency. Salam immediately traveled to United States, where he successfully signed an space cooperation agreement with United States Government. In November 1961, NASA built Flight Test Center (FTC) in Balochistan Province. During this time, Salam visited Air Force Academy where he met with Air Commodore (Brigadier-General) Wladyslaw Turowicz — a Polish military scientist and an aerospace engineer. Turowicz was made the first technical director of the space center, and a programme of rocket testing of insued. In 1964, while in the United States, Salam visited the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, and met with nuclear engineers Salim Mehmud and Tariq Mustafa. Salam signed another agreement with National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in which NASA launched a programme to provide training to Pakistan’s scientists and engineers. Both nuclear engineers returned to Pakistan in few months and were inducted in Suparco.

General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff visited Kalam Festival on the concluding day today. He appreciated people of Swat for playing a vital role in support of Security forces in revival of peace in the area and bringing festivals and tourism back to the valley. COAS said that dark-age of terrorism prevailed in Malakand Division till a few years back and it had become impossible to hold such functions in Swat. But sacrifices and firm commitment of the valiant soldiers of Pakistan Army, civil forces and the local people has eliminated terrorism from Malakand Division. Expressing the hope that tourism will flourish in the beautiful land of Swat, COAS assured that Army will always stand by people of Swat and help build capacity of civilian institutions. He reiterated that terrorists will not be allowed to return to these areas and disrupt peace and stability of Swat. COAS appreciated the organizers for arranging such an excellent event.

Where did i state that they convinced him for armed nukes i said they convinced him to START. a nuclear program and later that civil program morphed into project 706 due to Bhutto sahab

I confused it, no worries. Nuclear program started before Ayub came into power, escalated during his tenure, yes.
