Great booklet, but why should the Quran need any sort of justifications, scientific or otherwise, to verify or prove it at all? After all, Muslims believe that it is divine, perfect and for all times, as a bedrock of their faith. Shouldn't that be enough?

(Not to start a religious discussion, Sir, please delete if my post is unsuitable.)
I did get your point, but I will explain in other way around.
The quran states and commands muslims to research and move to earth and to observe his signs. So,as a Muslim it is my religious duty to research and learn his signs on earth. How and why he created things, from where have we come from and where we will go?If divine commandments provide us little hints and encourage us to search, then why not?
The muslim's intention should not be to explain that his religion is correct since he has strong faith. However,as muslim he must take them as hints and research further over those hints to gain knowledge.
This worldly knowledge which we call as Phd,Mphil or MS is basically tafseer of many verses of quran

Yes, but research and observation can be done independently of trying to prove religious beliefs, as we can see from the world's collective scientific output. Questions of how and why He created things, from where have come from and where we will go are best answered by beliefs and not science..

u said urself quran encourages observing ,analyzing, studying things, nature , objects.... when u invite someone to ur faith they ask you questions...... if u will have observed things and been able to analyze them logically .. you will be in a better position to interpret it to them within the bounds of ur understanding.
like quran says humans were created from water and clay and earth....one day iwas watching carl sagans famous documentary ...its a series..... and he said we are made from the same matter that our earth is made up of. maybe that explains how many minerals found on earth are found in human body too.

. . .
Guys I'm confused. I'm getting tagged but I don't really know. And suddenly I get an alert. So confusing. :|

I would have responded that, but this is not the answer syed.ali.haider wanted, because you can explain the science and society part of religion. However, you don't have scientific explanation of divine creatures such as archangels and events such as formation of Essa (A.S) without father. These events are purely miracle and science could only explain measurable properties and events of nature.Hence, science is limited and religion has broader horizon.
That is why @Syed.Ali.Haider in very clever, manner made such comment.Do not research to justify verses, they are not descended from heaven for you so that you began to prove them right,in fact they are present there to hint you to learn and to develop concepts further.
Remember,Islam means submission and when you submit yourself...you don't ask,you just learn and follow.
