Watch Maalik too, it's also a really great movie with a great message regarding our politics and politicians

What a song from Bol , those Indians who never listened to this song must listen once

People need to face facts here. The Pakistani people, especially those in Lahore and Karachi love Indian movies. They can't get enough of them. They couldn't give a toss about what happens with Pakistan and India, as long as their beloved Bollywood heroes can still be seen.
No matter where you stand on the issue, there is one clear fact i.e. many folk love Bollywood.

So being a Pakistani (that's what you claim here) you are happy with the outflow of atleast $650 million from Pakistan to a country which's waging proxy wars over your country since it's creation.

Every family's not like your's i would say then that their wives, sisters or daughters will ask them for watching those vulgar, obscene and filthy Indian movies atleast in our culture.I don't know about your country's culture which's to our East it seems.

You seriously misunderestimate subcontinent's women's power in house-hold, be it Pakistan or India.

There is another truth, Indians dig Pakistani artists. Their musicians, actors have always been favourites in India and so are Chinese mobiles. About time our subcontinent comes clean with this.

That has changed a lot and proof is that when the cinema owns imposed the ban, there was not outburst from any section...rather people welcomed it and now they support Pakistani content. People of Karachi and Lahore are also patriotic so paa jee it is time you to get your facts updated :)

These out bursts are never overt. It is more subtle in form of pirated movies, smuggled DVDs etc.

I think its due to Dungal which is releasing in Dec and the cinema owners in Pakistan want to earn as much profits as they can from this movie .
Its pure business

That's the main problem here.We are the most self-deprecating nation in the world. We belittle ourselves just for Pardesi content even when our own would be much better than it.Like i said it previously, for us it's like "GHAR KI MURGHI DAAL BRABAR".Second thing Pakistanis don't even give respect to our own too much talented people, when they go to India and get fame there then Pakistanis give respect to them too.Why don't we give respect to actors which remain in Pakistan and are much more talented than those that go to India.Isn't it hypocrisy?

Yeah so that is an immeasurable metric and no conclusion can be drawn from it. The silence means that people do not feel enough for the cause that they would like to speak up.

Yaar it's to do with culture and lagauage. Pakistanis need to be honest with themselves. Sure it may not be everyone, but it is a great deal and people find affinity with these films as they can understand them and see common ground.

Beh shak, until the people themselves have a change a heart, people can cry for a boycott all they want on PDF. It's not happening. This is why I don't particularly care about such topics.

Kuch log yahan are hell-bent to ignore the fact that we share thing with India. Its nothing to be ashamed of that we enjoy their movies. We share the spoken language but when I have spoken to the Indian students here in the UK they say I sound different and they always say you are speaking Urdu, but I say dude its same spoken language our accents are different. We should stop feeling insecure about this.

I'm so satisfied with Pakistan and being Pakistani that I don't feel the need to hate other nationalities for no reason.

These days I am following a certain western Danishwar called Nassir Taleb. Though he is somewhat arrogant but many of his ideas are rather practical. He thinks rules in the world are set according to the most extreme folks.

If there is a bunch who says 'Ban Pakistani Artists' or 'Ban Indian Movies' otherwise we will harm your cinema, you will see owners following these rules. Because the otherside, no matter how large will never say 'Show Indian Movies' or 'Show Pakistani Artists' otherwise we will stomp your cinemas.
