Afridi played real well today. His kind of guy is also needed and Younis and Yousuf too. The team is perfect. Keep Shoaib too. But Shoaib needs little more work from Waqar Younis.

He is our BOOM BOOM AFRIDI.Its afridi who brought Pakistan team confidence back. We are performing well and now winning matches. Soon we'll again be winning tournaments. We'll be in form before the world cup.

24 runs is real well? Runs doesnt matter, its way he got out in last 7 innings, slogging. He lacks cricketing brain after playing 300+ ODIs (more than combined sum of other 10?). He should play at no. 8, Razzak should come @ 7. Razzak > Afridi when team requires.

Zulqarnain Haider resurfaces in London​

Pakistan wicketkeeper Zulqarnain Haider resurfaced in London on Monday after skipping his team’s one-day match against South Africa in Dubai.

Haider flew to Heathrow Airport aboard a flight from the United Arab Emirates, where he had been scheduled to play in the deciding one-day international in the series against South Africa.

Team officials had reported Haider as missing to police and the International Cricket Council’s anti-corruption and security unit. The same unit helped investigate an alleged betting scandal involving three Pakistan players during a test against England in August.

On Haider’s Facebook page, he wrote earlier on Monday that he was “leaving Pakistan cricket because get bad msg fr 1 man fr lose the match in last game”

Haider scored the winning run in the fourth ODI against South Africa on Friday to clinch a one-wicket victory for Pakistan that levelled the five-match series at 2-2 and set up the final match at Dubai International Cricket Ground.

“The information shared with the PCB by local authorities indicates that Mr. Haider has left the UAE for the United Kingdom,” the PCB said in a statement. “The PCB continues to monitor this situation and is in regular contact with concerned authorities in this regard.”

The PCB said a “full inquiry” will be held into the “circumstances surrounding this incident” and “no further comments will be made until the facts are known.”

The ICC said it was aware of Haider’s disappearance. A Dubai police spokesman could not be immediately reached for comment.

Its not always the batting. Shahid Afridi is Partnership Breaker. And more importantly he is keeping the team together and increasing its confidence. The last 5 matches gave the example that Pakistan is coming back to cricket.

Given the circumstances and the PCB dampening their spirits, it is a credit to the players to put up such a performance. I see a lot of criticism for Afridi here, but has Pakistan ever been happy with a captain after Imran? You can't keep chopping and changing based on the result of one series. It may not pay off in the immediate future, but the stability will do a lot of good in the long run. And dropping Shoaib Akhtar? He is a really talented bowler and the reason why you guys were so competitive. Trust me, he could make or break your WC ambitions.

There should be no changes 4 months before the WC. But then again, the PCB never ceases to amaze.
