yep no ssm & no point defense as of now. So these to be done in Karachi at a later date.

RIM116 is very expensive though, potentially equivalent to a CAMM loadout, though, a very good capability

True, Egypt & Qatar had requested for $200 million & $260 million contracts for RIM116 missiles. Quite a hefty amount. Each missile is more than a million dollars + launchers, sensors, spares etc. So, Phalanx makes sense, the remaining ones in storage will end up on either yarmook2 or baburs.

While yarmook b2 are often shown with RAM style launcher, i very much doubt PN will go for RAM. Its more likely going to be Gokdeniz to start and possibly converted to Roketsan or Aselsan Goksur PDMS when they are available.

As for the Baburs, i am sure they will get CIWS soon.

Wondering why different suggestions of are suddenly popping out for missing weapons, aren't these were part of $ 1.5 billion package?

Great shot, Babur corvettes are nearly the same length as of Istanbul class frigate.

On the other note, that's exactly how the dockyards should look like. Each ship with its own separate docking platform. Not like Karachi's dockyard where you stack up 4 ships in a line, so first three ships can't even undock unless the 4th ship crew is embarked, than first 2 can't go unless the third's crew is stationed.

A rough check on the top down image shows that 4 mildas cells (on the Istanbul class) are roughly the same footprint as 6 GWS.35 Cells. If the Turks can arrange for 4 cell modules of MILDAS, and Pakistan can get CAMM-ER certified to fire from MILDAS (with MBDA/Italian permission), then these could eventually see an exchange for 8 cells on Baburs and allow for 32 quad packed CAMM-ER.

Ideally quad pack and upto 32 missiles would have been great. 12 missiles are just very few. But I think that route is gone now. and at this stage its too much to ask for all this modifications. Perhaps 15-20 years later for MLU. However, hope they go for atleast 32 missile config for JCF.
