I think they are working on Panter 2 with improved staffs. Firtina (tracked SPG) and Yavuz/Asya (trucked SPG) will get benefit out of it. Turkey always puts lots of emphasis on Artillery. Many of her chiefs have been from the corps of Artillery!!!

I don't know if Pakistan can afford those systems.

barrel seems to be larger than usual for better accuracy. and consequently the clumsy design of the vehicle. serbs just couldnt achieve the standard accuracy with normal sized barrel. i think pakistan itself can make a comparable effort.

No it's not internal security can't be done through Artillery Artillery is to keep India at bay not TTP. They give a shit about this. Fighting TTP doesn't mean you stop focusing on other weapons procurement

Worth noting that Yugoimport-SDPR (Serbia) revealed the Aleksandar SPH a few weeks ago, a fairly upgraded variant of the NORA B-52 they had sent for trials in Pakistan. Any chance the feedback from the trials could have gone into the Aleksandar?

The Aleksandar is just a more automated version - seems like sans the guy sitting in the back turret. Don't see anything new/upgraded to the actual gun or its engineering.

Denel did make to Pak. All in all a better gun than the Nora. Caesar H is just the usual French marketing. Looks cooler than the rest but essentially the same performance - or worse - for a higher price.

Yes!
It was brought to Pak twice. First it was here and tested, we asked for some modifications, the system went back and was then brought to Pakistan again after the required changes (that is when @balixd saw it as well).

Yes they are working on an improved version as the Panter failed with us (hot humid climate i assume). Lets see what they come up with. However Pakistan currently seem to be settling for M109 (tracked) and most probably NORA B-52 (wheeled) in SP howitzers.

Artillery can surely give message to rulers of Kabul that Pakistan is not going to tolerate anymore crap like TTP or BLA. Till now we have act fucking pussies and didn't show any kind of intent even after APS massacre.
