I think you are a smart woman and however I deeply disagree with zakir naek on all levels of religion and his own scientific facts, I still would hear your point of view and disagree accordingly. I am sure people ask me why I am so hard on MR Zavaran, it is because he is the reason we are in big trouble worldwide. His irrational thinking is speeding up our process of losing foot in media and sciences and generally all worldly goals. All these guys are doing is wearing white and praying for the world to end. These defeatists rather than keep their ignorance to themselves have started to venture out and stop others who are already pretty beat up in this world to follow their dreams of the other life. This world is far more important that the other where you will not be tested according to them. These guys keep lying and killing and breaking every rule in their own books to take the easy way out. It is time to not step back against the beasts. War is upon us from them and we were sitting quietly thinking it will not come to our doors. It has and people are waking up now. They create the Qadiris, which are potent useless wastes of life against rational voices. We will create our own Qadiris and we will shower flowers on them. Every Pakistani will live and live well regardless of their religion unless and until he becomes a direct threat to someones life or property.

ISLAMIC GOVERNMENT? WHERE? IF it was an Islamic it would GIVE basic rights such as food, shelter and clothing to it's people NOT steal it from them!
IF it was Islamic government the non-Muslims and Muslims would live in harmony not suppressed every now and then!

IF it was an Islamic government there would be JUSTICE and Zardari would never have been able to even smell the Presidential seat let alone sit in it!

Which only re-enforces my point of view! Pray as you wish, the objective here is to be close to the Almighty, and ask for his guidance, not to go and shoot people who stand in a different format during prayers!
Now tell me, my way is better or your's, where Islam is divided between "sects" and "sub-sects". Allah in his infinite wisdom knew the shortcomings of us human-beings. So he left his guidance, open for interpretation with the changing times.
Just adhere to the basic tenants of Islam, you'll do fine little sis!

"Say:Obey Allah And obey His Messenger"
'Qul:Atiullah wa atiurrasool."
Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and beware (of evil): if ye do turn back, know ye that it is Our Messengers duty to proclaim (the Message) in the clearest manner. (5: 92).
O ye who believe! obey Allah, and obey the Messenger, and those charged with authority among you. If ye differ in anything among yourselves, refer it to Allah and His Messenger, if ye do believe in Allah and the Last Day: that is best, and most suitable for final determination. (4: 59).
Say: Obey Allah, and obey the Messenger: but if ye turn away, he is only responsible for the duty placed on him and ye for that placed on you. If ye obey him, ye shall be on right guidance.(24: 54).
And whoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger, Allâh shall admit him in the Gardens underneath which rivers flow. (4:13)
And whoever obeys Allâh and His Messenger, he has won a great success. (33:71)

You do realize these are the exact same ayah illiterate mullas use to bash others for ages? I don't see anywhere why in particular the sunni or shia hadith have to be followed. We all follow the prophet SAW, but if the hadith invent new stuff out of no where, they obviously arent from the Prophet SAW

And tell the believing women that they must lower their gazes and guard their private parts, and must not expose their adornment, except that which appears thereof, and must wrap their bosoms with their shawls, and must not expose their adornment, except to their husbands or their fathers or the fathers of their husbands, or to their sons or the sons of their husbands, or to their brothers or the sons of their brothers or the sons of their sisters, or to their women, or to those owned by their right hands, or male attendants having no (sexual) urge, or to the children who are not yet conscious of the shames of women. And let them not stamp their feet in a way that the adornment they conceal is known. And repent to Allah O believers, all of you, so that you may achieve success.

Point 1: God has given orders 1st to Men (v 30) than to Women (v 31) - So, if you want to make it law than it must be first for men than for women.
Point 2: In Quran - It's order to believers - the ones who believe in God & Quran have to follow the orders otherwise those are not true Muslims - so it doesn't matter for them either they follow or not
Point 3: There is no punishment written in Quran about this topic, If anyhow Mullah think this order must be enforced than according to below verse there must be law against walking slow or fast and speaking loud?? Isn't it?
031:019 - وَ اقۡصِدۡ فِیۡ مَشۡیِکَ وَ اغۡضُضۡ مِنۡ صَوۡتِکَ ؕ اِنَّ اَنۡکَرَ الۡاَصۡوَاتِ لَصَوۡتُ الۡحَمِیۡرِ
and be moderate in your walk, and lower your voice. Surely, the ugliest of voices is the voice of the donkeys
Point 4: If we enforce than will not this mullah will be disobeying God
2:256 لَاۤ اِکۡرَاہَ فِی الدِّیۡنِ ۟ۙ قَدۡ تَّبَیَّنَ الرُّشۡدُ مِنَ الۡغَیِّ ۚ فَمَنۡ یَّکۡفُرۡ بِالطَّاغُوۡتِ وَ یُؤۡمِنۡۢ بِاللّٰہِ فَقَدِ اسۡتَمۡسَکَ بِالۡعُرۡوَۃِ الۡوُثۡقٰی ٭ لَا انۡفِصَامَ لَہَا ؕ وَ اللّٰہُ سَمِیۡعٌ عَلِیۡمٌ
There is no compulsion in Faith. The correct way has become distinct from the erroneous. Now, whoever rejects the Taghut (the Rebel, the Satan) and believes in Allah has a firm grasp on the strongest ring that never breaks. Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.

That bit is fine! But always go for the best. Besides Believe in the Prophets and Rasools of ALLAH are also part of our believes and ALLAH knew we would question as we do so Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. was sent to answer as many questions as possible and also demonstrate as many simple daily needs of life as needed-
Shahadah- How to say it, abide on it
Prayer- how to do the azan and conduct the prayers in the best manner in which ALLAH likes
Zakat - whom to pay and how much to pay as well as when to pay
Sawm- When to fast, When to break fast, Which other days are also good days to fast, How best to break the fast and so on
Hajj- How best to preform it- not like many who over-run others or smash others while doing ths duty
and also what to read and when to read.
