Is he/she allowed to convert?
If not then its oppression because you are having different rules based on religion

People set out calling countries oppressive, and end up working there.
Oppression is being in the same religion and not being able to marry, just because of which house you were born in.
And conversion ispeed not forced upon anyone. If a Muslim loves a non-Abrahamic believer and will to marry her, he can not force it upon her, if she says no; it's a no. Then don't marry.

But how are the below situations handled in Pakistan both currently and after the enactment of this bill

1) A Hindu Boy marries a Muslim girl

2) A Hindu girl marries a Muslim boy

Since, Hinduism is non Abrahamic religion. It's not permissible to marry, unless he/she convert. Muslims can only marry in Christianity and Judaism without the conversion. Although it is not very much liked, but acceptable.

I know that but not all of them will be killed. I know some people who are openly atheist here. Never see a Muslim converting to other religion. They still live. But they can't change their religion on their ID card. What if they want to marry a non-Muslim who have also converted to the same faith as them. What law will apply on them? Because you will only be considered Muslim because of your ID card.

There is a guy who claims to be a Jew because it was his mother's faith and his father was a Muslim. He is having problems changing his religion on his ID card. @Zarvan

My gf is Muslim from Morocco we had this issue but we said we will respect each others faiths and let our kids decide their own path.

Here in the west there is many couples like me but its taboo elsewhere.

It should have happened decades ago. Not only that the bill is yet to be passed. I am glad that PMLN is being open minded but lets wait and see if it is passed because as yet the bill has still to be passed. Also 60 years and Hindus could not have their own law for marriage. Raises a huge question mark over the rulers power to implement laws that are helpful or beneficial to minorities.
