With 2000km range, once launched larger part of its midcourse phase will be in Indian airspace, vulnerable to high altitude Indian ABM system PAD.

I think you missed the point, If pointed toward S-400 site itself with a large conventional or small tactical Nuke. IRBMs will be in its terminal phase after reentering earth's atmosphere will be impossible to intercept.

Like i said there are more than few tech available for 150 KM placement in India will be taken care by barrage of missiles like Short range both guided and unguided ,moment S400 reveal its position it will be taken out so (S400 will take care of how many this is the point) so i just dont like putting scenarios imp thing is what is today on the ground ,Right now Air power is balanced .

I don't know what this Indian air force officer is smoking, the last time I checked, the balloon of S400 purchase by India was already punctured by Russian. But the russians did help us majorly, in developing Sea based nuclear deterrence INS ARIHANT. This has completed our nuclear triad ! n bet u , S-400 is coming to India......coz for russians all that matters is $$$$$

Iron barely works against home made rockets, You really want to deploy expensive missiles against cheap artillery and MLRS. How in the world are you expecting to counter hundred of artillery shelling landing simultaneously with battery of 12 super expensive missile.
