The main point here which needs most attention and has not been discussed is that why did USA lied?

Trump and his team are basically a pack of savage wolves. Wolves study their prey before attacking as a pack. They look for signs of weakness and when they smell blood they go for the kill. Pakistan is a special prey for these pack of crusaders and the reason is obvious. The savage pack is done with its mask, now it has appeared in its actual state. Pakistan is not making a big issue it was just a single statement from Foreign Office and nothing else. Show me any thing other than the statement of foreign office. All the fuss is made by media. Now why did state department lied? What was the need of it.

I think they tried to test Pakistan's new Government when Pompeo announced the IMF blackmail but the US received a very strong response from our side and since then they're unsure what to say or do next.
