Totally agree. Why the hell PAF would not shoot all these indian jets is beyond any logic. In fact, this attitude of PAF top brass is extremely worrying as it literally displays a "Defeatist" mindset. And that is why even today, despite all the humiliation, the IAF and the indian Army is still putting propaganda out there. Now just imagine, if PAF would have shot 9-Fighter jets - the whole indian military would have been shell shocked, and it would have literally taken them years to recover from such a shock. I am very, very disappointed - PAF should never have disclosed this as this statement will work against them.

Listen buddy, Pakistan is not America or China. Know Pakistan's position in today's world first! Our economy is all bottom low and even the ummah chumma have turned blind eye towards Pakistan. Pakistan would be more effected by a month or even week long war as it would be almost impossible to recover.
Shooting down 10 IAF fighters and that in their own territory would be an act of war with no side stopping! If someone slaps you, you dont respond with beating him to death but a punch would be more then enough.
What PAF did was send a strong message to India and the result was in their humiliation and a bloody nose.

India had practically gone for a salvo’d surface to surface attack on all Pakistani air bases in response to just downing 2 fighters. You’d read the ‘Hit and Run’ piece from IAF DCAS Ops, clearly stating the danger of switching to surface to surface missiles. It’s extremely easy to suggest otherwise while safely hiding behind a computer screen. It’s entirely something else to make a call based on real time intelligence.

You’re dealing with a religio-fascist enemy and would be dead wrong by underestimating the threat of war going nuclear.
