Paf Is Run By Fighter Mafia Jocks---Kaiser Tufail Is Wrong

@MastanKhan is there two type of pilots in any AF? fighter and bomber?

Hi,

Absolutely---that has been the scourage of all the air forces for a century now---pro-active air forces have come out of that mindset---the Gulf War 1 changed the mindset of all the players in the game for the western forces---to such an extreme end that an air force with the likes of united states has put the A 10 in preference over the F 35----.

@MastanKhan
what i think that PAF change its priority over time ? in 65 they enjoying bombing the Indian bases , but we have to consider that in 65 IAF doesn't have any proper Air defense systems , today the warfare style is changed , most of the Air forces are looking for a milti-purpose Aircraft's , PAF do lack some heavies , there is no doubt on it , and there is something wrong within the organization ,over the time PAF were engage in home based operation ( bombing in FATA ) that put a huge effect on their mental level , they probably doesnt even care about the rising threat from the india side of border , this can be easily proven , than whenever Pakistan induct any new weapons system, we see a response from Indian side, but when Indian inducts any new weapons , our Armed forces dont even care much .... looks like the priorities are different ..but this war on terror is a long run war, this is not going to be over anytime soon , but in case of any border conflict with India , we do lack a lot , numerical and technological disadvantage increases a lot in recent years ..

PAF has adopted a defensive policy - this was apparent a long while back.

Hi,

The experience in Fata is wonderful----but what worked in Fata will not work on the plains of Punjab and Sindh.

The thing is that we can literally induct two items for one of india's and we don't need to match them in numbers one on one.

The magic number for our air force is 450-500. The previous number of 350 is not going to work anymore.

As for the war on terror----india would not allow it to end---if it an. Because once the threat is gone---india will have issues.

yeah exactly , that experience in Fata is good but irrelevant in Punjab and Sindh ,

obviously we can never enjoy the numerical superiority over india but even if PAF did learn something from their Ancestors at least they should try to maintain technological superiority ?

against almost 200 heavies like mki we have 70+ F-16's from which mostly are blk 10,15 and 40 A/B versions if i am not wrong ...

recently one of the minster hint about buying some latest fighters from Russia , but i believe that was just a bluff , if we are looking for Su-35 etc, than why not going for J-11 series , Chinese are more friendly than Russians for now , they can provide in cheap price , and a lot more ..

for russian's we can buy Sam's from them ...not to expect a lot for now, or if we present Russians our wish list , i fear that the friendship between Pakistan and Russian will over before it even started ...

by the way , i read in one of your post that you are in favor of MK2 , honestly i am not in favor ... cost will be much and we can easily induct j-11 series in same budget. .. what do you thin k ?

War on terror is the counterpart to Jihad.

When that ends, WoT will end.

India has nothing to do with it.

Thank you.

Hi,

If I have the opportunity---I will take the M2k9 at anytime----.

. . .
they were actually forced to do that ...

That's a good place to start.

You can come up with the reasons on what you think that forced them to do that.

For my part though - the PAF air chief's speech a year back or so made PAF's defensive posture apparent...there was a thread here.

Hi,

It is not over J11 series

well indians are flying M2k's from decades now .. it hard for PAF to get a jet indians already mastered ..

force not always mean some countries ... probably the budget , or WOT

Unlike Brahmos, Babur can 'loiter', even switch targets, and can be reprogrammed mid air. .
that is true, but a strike jet is a cheaper better and reusable option.
America is bad example they like to waste money and show off

:) IAF mirages are for a very specific purpose.

Sir,

You are incorrect---Idaf always had the strike capability to strike at the farthest posts of the enemy at any given time at its discretion. Nothing was safe from Idaf---.

Egypt had nothing to counter---it did not have any aircraft to reach and strike Israel.

Paf---is a liar---it has lied to the people---for the longest. They may have a game plan---every loser has a game plan.

Even the magnificent 300 were smashed by the Persian armies. Your air force needs to reach the enemy's heart lands---dehli---agra---Mumbai and other south indian cities.
exactly for that reason @Oscar I think PAF has a defeatist philosophy if it doesnt want to go out of the comfort zone of its borders.
the guy you quoted couldnt have been more wrong when he misquoted Israeli airforce. he has forgotten that Israeli airforce went all the way to Iraq to destroy its nuclear installations, want to do the same to Iran and was all primed up to strike Pakistan which it might not have ruled out yet. it is by far the best on job deep strike air force after the Yankies

And Syria in Op Orchard at Deir al Zur in 2007 I believe.
