PAF F-16s Do Incorporate DRFM Technology !

That’s one perspective which i myself can agree with.

However, such a scenario involves many hurdles on CPEC by US. Well, let’s see how your hypothesis works with Sir @Khafee ’s thoughts about vipers coming in march if we get back to white list this month inshaAllah.
During the 1st visit of Imran Khan to USA, the Americans asked to drop Azm and buy the latest variant of the F-15E Strike Eagle. F-16s upgrades were discussed, along with spare parts and with the possibility of acquiring the original extra batch of 18 Vipers but in the Block 72 format, the latter being a PAF demand.

Is this from a verifiable source?

I'm guessing PAF decided to forgo this offer and continue with AZM and JF-17 program.

If US offer F35s that would be nice Poland buying 32 F35 worth 4 billion includes logistics and training along rest fleet V upgrade yes grab more used F-16s with AESA upgrades would be great combo.
who's your dealer dude?

Heard it from senior PAF servicemen. Yes they let go of that option and stuck to their own programs. Even though the Strike Eagle is the type of aircraft PAF requires not to mention the excellent logistical support and maintenance, but the unit cost is too high.

Did the US offer the Super Hornet? IIRC it would've been a more ideal platform, right blend of range, payload, technology, economies of scale, operating cost, etc than the F-15.

They didn't take it. Hell of a beast indeed. Nope, talks got approved for logistical support and spare parts.
With FATF and deal with Talibs Pak is in good position for bargain Khan met PAF staff at air Headquarters few months back along Hafeez sheik I believePPAF decided what they are after let's see what comes out for sure its not Russian 20% chance for EU palne more likely American jet for sure.

Every single time someone mentions the US-Pakistan-Europe-Russia talks, a new aircraft type gets added to the buy-order.

We have so far ‘talked’ about Su-35s, J-10Cs, F-16 Block 72s, Italian Eurofighters - what’s left?

Just healthily sceptic. :)

US jets only worth if they offer at good price and with CSF Russian jets I doubt it always they want cash EU too expensive moral of story China US combo what ever shape it takes

Not bad idea good for coast and maritime support as well can fire Harpoons a very good replacement of our Mirages.
One thing I feel American are also little desperate over military equipment sale like Swedes are. I am surprised they offer F15 to Pak. PAF should look for a good deal from US ditched badly by indians over F21 saga. I mean they offering Bangladesh AH64 means Boeing looking for business. Lets see what comes up but Hafeez sheik along IK visited air Headquarters signals they agree on something beacuse sheik is money man. Finger crossed and excited.

F-15Es. Brings the same or more strike package than the Superhornet would for PAF standards. The provision of the GE engines would be extra cost to the program. And so on....

matches what I heard, but what I heard was Pakistan was offered two Ronald Reagan aircraft carriers and three squadrons of F-22 in exchange for Pakistan canceling the AZM program and eight submarine orders from China.

This also shows US doesn't want PAF to look towards Russia.
