How would they have reached Pakistan from Bangladesh after 1971? India BD border is porous but India Pak border is not. The richer ones who can afford air travel wouldnt move to Pakistan. That only leaves shipping vessels. Unlikely that even hundreds of thousands let alone millions hid on commercial ships to get to Pakistan.

Bangladeshi domestic workers were very common in Pakistan throughout the 80s and 90s, even lower middle class families had Bangladeshi help. They all came via India. Just like you lot make your way across oceans, continents, deserts and walled off borders to get to US.
