What creditable proof is there that we will be getting Tiger class ships?

none sir , only guess work , but this also means that we are paying 5 Billion $$ for Subs only , no other eqm we bought with them , daaaaammmmmmmm if the price in news is right then they are some hell of subs I m sure.

PN also want 3-4 used advance Western subs, don't know they have this plan now.

Yes once they tried , If available then they may go after them, but I know that at one stage 15 was the number , don't know what is required number now. may be even more.

Salute to Admiral, indeed did a great Job, Not only these Subs will but AG-90 and new midSub JV with Italy will also. I just wish we are buying this Frigates .

If I m not wrong I read some where I n late 90s PN need total 15 SSKs ,,,,,,,,,,,, so 8 +3 =11 looking for other 4!!!!

Last time I heard there negotiations in advanced vessels, if cost is worked out then new 4,000 ton frigates are more than a distinct possibility.

LACM can be fired from inclined launchers as well as VLS. VLS is necessary if one wants medium / long range air defence for the surface ship.

An unidentified AShM was tested from a land-based launcher in March. Probably Harba.

Since Harba is slated as a ship launched missile, I believe

1) Weight of the Babur-2 is significantly reduced with a corresponding decrease in range and payload.
2) Pakistan Navy will prefer Babur-3 SLCM over Harba for nuclear attack missions.
