What's new

Option's for PAF ?

You know nothing about modern fighters then.... Eurofighter not superior to J10B (that is still not yet offically inducted) :woot::rofl:

Its like saying India has the best Air Force after USA/ Russia as we have FGFA (never mind that only 3-4 prototypes are there)

J-10B has already been delivered to Chinese air-force. There was a picture with 14 at an airfield on China in air-force colours

Why do you find this hard to understand?

And
How your Rafale will deal with a NCW capable defense force who is integrating its systems with each other to make sure that enemy can't get air dominance over Pakistani skies?? PAF now have many SAM systems not just jets which will make a wall of fire for IAF, its not 90s any more dear.
And What are these many SAM systems with PAF?

PAF has but one half way decent SAM..Spada 2000.. with 25 Km range..which puts it in the same category as IAFs Akash SAM...that too just ten batteries of it, will be needed to defend PAF airbases, and still vulnerable to IAF SEAD weapons of more than 25 km range.

Lets not even compare chinese copies of 50 yrs old French Cortale SAM.

Now digging up old articles won't help get life man

Wake up smell the air 36 aircraft All ready ordered at cost of around 7.2 Billion rest will negotiated in the end the number's will come because IAF pressure.

We made it through by end this decade we will have 2 operational squadrons of Rafale's in IAF inventory.
Good for you, but if the article was old, than the price is somehow higher. I do not know where you came up with your figures, but the Brasilien ones were documented.
No deal has been signed and you already got a life, We all have heard the same stuff when the first deal with France was announced, and you know the outcome.
In the same frame of mind Pakistan has already ordered 36 J-31s from China , maybe they already knew what guys on PDF and elsewhere did not.

Ever heard of LY-80E and HQ-9s??

LOL - do you have an English comprehension problem?

I said it is an ok fighter BEARING in mind that it came out in 2001.

There is nothing special for it to be better than US F-15/16 that came out in 1970s and Russian Mig-29s and SU-30s that came out in the 1980s.

You need to read, understand what someone is trying to say and then type.
Why do you insist on making a fool out of yourself on a public forum? Just Wondering.

and you think PAF is not purchasing SAMs?? they already had many systems which can make MKIs and Rafale run for their money.

Run for money would not be sufficient.

You need better systems like S300, S400 and a lot more.

@Basel @Thorough Pro

See, apart from Indians showing off on this thread, realistically speaking, for the forseeable future there won't be any conflicts between India and Pakistan.

In the meantime, your best hope is to get your economy back on track. Just imagine, if somebody back in 1990s told you India will some day procure Rafales/ EF and will be the 1st AF in Asia to have a stealth fighter, you guys would have laughed your a$$ off to him....It was our economic revival that lead us to this day...

Pakistan needs to avoid conflict and build its own infrastructure and polictical situation. Over time, as your budget will increase, you can directly go to 5th gen fighters (while developing th JF17 into a potent 4.5 gen fighter).

Given a chance, India would have loved to procure AMCA/FGFA nad avoid 20 billion $ of 4.5++ gen stuff but our scenario is such that we have no other choice (rising China, depleshing squadrons).

IAF is not 10 times larger, also its not possible for IAF to bring 80% of its fleet to its western border.
In war scenario anything can be achieved not 80% but even with 60-65 percent will be enough to take on PAF with limited support the will get from West and scarcity of Resources they are In.

As for 10 times larger it was in prespectice I counted all the conventional resources of the IAF and financial one too

PS: you can add Chinese into discussion but that will be different play all together There are other players that can be added in our statergies

LOL - thanks for YOUR opinion. Everyone is entitled to their opinion of course.

All I can see is Indians and one French against me as I am saying their Rafale is nothing special:lol:

Post of the day.... that made me laugh for almost 3 mins.

Keep laughing, but what I have posted is the current capability of PAF, not upcoming one. :D

If IAF will be able to bring that number of jets to western border then friendship treaty might be silently enforced. If you know what I meant.

Do you know the difference between delivery and induction?

Eg. LCA has been delivered (and video is there like you picture that you repeat in every post ) but is yet to be inducted officially into operational squadrons.
