On How to DELETE Israel

The original point that you made was that somehow this land belonged to forefathers of the returning Jews. Not only is this a questionable claim, but it also ignores that fact that many among Palestinians are the people who converted from Judaism to Christianity and Islam. That they speak a different language now should not make others discriminate against them.

You are perhaps trying to find parallels between Hindu and Jewish experience. I dare say you are expecting too much.

Lets not get Hindu/Jewish in the picture and please do not assume I am bringing any religion in.

Palestinians are as much entitled to the land as much as the Israelis. Just like the Israelis are entitled to the land like the Palestinians are. The problem arises when Arabs say the State of Israel is not entitled to exist.

As for the point of the area being inhabited by the forefathers. Well, they originated there, did they not? There is a fundamental difference in saying, unless you rule the land its not yours and saying you originate from the said place? Correct? Going by this logic, they did originate there. Now, the question of whether they should be there now? That was answered in 1947. Now to change that, there was a war. Did it change? No. It got worse.

The point of view depends on when you start calculating residence. 1947, Ottomans and so on.

Israel's being an illegitimate entity worked til the majority of population originated from over-seas. After 1967, there is hardly any chance of working with this logic. Most Israelis were born there and are now the people of the land.

The Biblical Jews were not the 'people of the land' in a sense that is often implied. They did not originate from that area, since Ibrahim (AS) belonged to Mesopotamia, and not Palestine. Jews migrated to Palestine when led by Moses (AS), and never were they exclusive owners of Palestine - they shared this land with others. Biblical Jews were uprooted from Palestine after a few centuries when Babylonians conquered them. After a century and a half they were allowed to go back when Cyrus the great conquered Babylon. Most did not go back. After a century and a half Jews living in Palestine was conquered by Alexander, and a while later they were conquered by Romans and then they dispersed. Very few Jews continued to live in Palestine as Jews. Most converted to Christianity & Islam. After about two millenia the people who now call themselves Jews thought of going back to Palestine in a Zionist plan. The European Jews have only a tenuous genetic claim to being descendants of Biblical Jews. The people of the land, who have lived there for thousands of years belong to this land and have a much stronger entitlement to it. You just can not make a faulty argument about Palestine belonging to Jews. That is just counter-factual in light of history. Israel came into existence with force of arms like any other colonial project and preserved with money and European guilt over Holocaust.

However I understand that this is convenient for you to support this narrative because you see Israel as important to India. You really need not come up with an excuse for your support of Israel. You do, however, need to explain as to how you can support Israel in their massacre of Gazans. Now that takes some real guts to do. Even Americans are having problems with doing that.

I agree with overall gist of your post.

But please do not confuse history and periods.

Ibrahim, moses, babylonians etc. are all mushed up in the wrong temporal order.

I highly suggest using approximate calendar years (like 200 BC or 100 AD etc) when referring to history.

Thank you.

p.s. no disrespect intended.

I was not really going for accuracy here. That is why I have referred to centuries and millenia. I did not want to write a multi-paragraph response just to make a point which is actually tangential to the discussion here.

Comment on the other thread:

I respect all religions.

However, the TIME HAS COME -

Just like Amrikans/Israelis are bull dozing Muslims to condemn and condemn loudly about the sympathies we have for the terror boys -

The time has COME that Jewish scholars like Stephen Cohen - Start making noise about Fed printing $$$ saga.

Alan Greenspan, Bernanke, Yellen etc are all Jewish.

The root cause of all the problems is PRINTING MONEY $$$$$
If Jewish people happen to be that smart (unless it was deliberate) that the previous 3 (and more) fed chairmen were Jewish - Why not resign and not follow the Amrikan printing $$$ saga?

Remember - Had it not been the PRINTED $$$ - Amrika would have been out of Iraq and Afghanistan sooner. A lot sooner. Had it not been the PRINTED $$$ - You would not have seen arms floating around and given by CIA/Mossad/Kinks/ISI and so on.

IN CONCLUSION - I DO NOT BELIEVE IN ANY WORD OF THE JEWISH SCHOLARS UNTIL THEY START BUILDING PRESSURE ON THE FELLOW JEWISH FED CHAIRMEN TO RESIGN CONSIDERING PRINTED $$$ SAGA RUINS EVERYTHING ELSE.

Let's not mix up two things. Existence of Israel and the current operation in Gaza. Third point is who has rights over the land.

Existence of Israel is what Hamas and a few countries in the Arab world are fighting against. And as is made evident by comments by members on this forum. So you can say that you think Israel is a reality, but, that is not shared by lot of your countrymen and quite a people in the Arab diaspora.

As for Jews becoming Christian becoming Muslims becoming atheists become ABC is not a concern. The moot point is where do you start your point of history. If the Israelis take it that Moses led them to Palestine, then for them that is the promised land. Where they went after that and now they having come back is not the point. It is about belief. Just like you believe that the Koran is the best book of all, they believe that its the promised land for them. And they pulled it through and made it a reality. Now either live happily with them or fight with them.

Which one to believe, kind of fucked arent we :coffee:

Israel’s ‘Demographic Time Bomb’ Is a Dud

Your article center's around the muslim/arab population in Israel

the article I posted is about the total muslim/arab population across Gaza/israel/west bank

it is on the verge of exceeding the jewish population and because muslims have
more children
marry early
have children very soon after marriage
and have most of their children in short period

it means we will begin to out number the jews more and more

Yes, difficult until USA is super power. But with No USA, Israel will be pretty tiny task to accomplish. And you have to check KSA new Offensive force. Their spending on Military is even more greater then India. (PS: I don't mean they are stronger army than India, but they have capital to change the scenario if they are allowed)

Does not matter how much KSA or their Arab allies spent
the fact is Israel is here to stay Their Determination & the Power of the 'BUMB' as you would call it is very high
for the sake of the world let's pray that arabs don't attack & defeat Isreal

If you think "outbreeding" rather than focusing on the economics of things (which are inversely proportional) will "delete" Israel then there is absolutely no hope

Why would i pray for israel? I would love to see israel defeated and removed this Zionist state and Palestine is returned to its rightful owners.
