Conducting this meeting is immaterial and what matters is an outcome, and to produce an outcome we do not need to convene an OIC meeting. Just a message from Arab countries from the position of authority would be enough to stop India from doing terrorism in Kashmir and elsewhere.

I would like to request the OIC to prepare a Roadmap of Muslim Response on Kashmir. Furthermore a proposal of a Muslim Economic Corridor should be presented at the session.

Islamabad will host the representative of the Muslim World and give them a platform and a voice they need more than Pakistan, who would treat it as an honor and sense of pride.

ISLAMABAD – Saudi Arabia on Saturday assured to convene a special meeting of the foreign ministers of member states of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) on the ongoing atrocities in occupied Kashmir in Islamabad.

According to sources, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud at the request of Prime Minister Imran Khan assured to hold a meeting of OIC pertaining to Kashmir matter in April 2020 through Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan, who toured the country on December 26.

The meeting is expected to also include the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Bahrain, Turkey, Indonesia, Qatar and other countries.

The foremost priority of the meeting will be the current situation in the occupied valley, which will be followed by controversial citizenship bill in India and also to shed light on the matter about protecting the rights of Muslim countries. The OIC FM meeting has been given a special status after the Kuala Lumpur Summit which took place earlier this month in Malaysia.

Muslim countries were expressing reservations on the less active role of the OIC, due to which the KL summit was seen as an alternative platform. Saudi Arabia has decided to mobilize the OIC.

Just wondering in spite of so much genocide why millions of Muslims did not try to escape from India and be a refugee in Mulsim states like Pakistan and BD.Rather these same mulslims are coming illegally to India and trying to gain citizenship?

India has never truly declared on how many muslims are there in India. With the recent demographic changes of disputed territory and citizenship laws aimed at what fascists in India say will be the March of Sorrow when Muslims are marched to concentration camps and the ocean.

Muslims in India are Indian citizens not Pakistan and neither Bangladeshi apart from 20 million perhaps. The more Indian fascist highlight their muslim problem, the more OIC and her role will become important.

OIC will cease to exist if it remains to oblivious to Kashmir.
